Meaning IsKey Mandatory
Indicates the local ID of the cell. It uniquely identifies a cell within a BS. YES YES
Indicates the step by which the TX power for random access preambles is
increased each time after a RACH access failure. If multiple attempts to
access the PRACH fail, the UE increases the TX power for random access
NO NO
preambles by a step specified by this parameter each time after an access
failure to ensure successful access.
For details, see 3GPP TS 36.321.
Indicates the target UE transmit power for the PRACH expected by the
eNodeB when PRACH preamble format 0 is applied on condition that
NO NO
requirements for preamble detection performance are met.
For details, see 3GPP TS 36.321.
Indicates the threshold for determining the size of Msg3 when a UE selects
a preamble from random access preamble group A during a random
NO NO
access procedure.
For details, see 3GPP TS 36.321.
Indicates the offset to the starting position of each PRACH in the frequency
NO NO
domain of the FDD cell.
Indicates the preamble format used in the cell. Cells set up on one LBBP
NO NO
must use the same preamble format. For details, see 3GPP TS 36.211.

NOT_CFG(Not configure)
If preamble format 1 is used, this parameter can be set to 31 or a value in the range of 16 to 24.
If preamble format 2 is used, this parameter can be set to 47 or a value in the range of 32 to 37.
If preamble format 3 is used, this parameter can be set to 63 or a value in the range of 48 to 53.
For FDD cells established on an LBBPc:
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED, preamble format of 0, and bandwidth of 15 MHz or 20
MHz, this parameter can be set to 15 or a value in the range of 0 to 8.
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED, preamble format of 0, and bandwidth of smaller than or
equal to 10 MHz, this parameter can be set to 15 or a value in the range of 0 to 5.
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED, preamble format of 1, bandwidth of 15 MHz or 20 MHz,
and cell radius of smaller than or equal to 15960 m, this parameter can be set to 31 or a value in the range of 16 to 24.
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED, preamble format of 1, bandwidth of 15 MHz or 20 MHz,
and cell radius of greater than 15960 m, this parameter can be set to 31 or a value in the range of 16 to 21.
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED, preamble format of 1, and bandwidth of smaller than or
equal to 10 MHz, this parameter can be set to 31 or a value in the range of 16 to 21.
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED and preamble format of 2, this parameter can be set to 47
or a value in the range of 32 to 37.
If a cell is configured with the speed flag of LOW_SPEED and preamble format of 3, this parameter can be set to 63
or a value in the range of 48 to 53.
If a cell is configured with a speed flag other than LOW_SPEED and preamble format of 0, this parameter can be set
to 15 or a value in the range of 0 to 5.
If a cell is configured with a speed flag other than LOW_SPEED and preamble format of 1, this parameter can be set
to 31 or a value in the range of 16 to 21.
If a cell is configured with a speed flag other than LOW_SPEED and preamble format of 2, this parameter can be set
to 47 or a value in the range of 32 to 37.
Logical root sequences for each cell must be configured based on the network plan. The tool for configuring Zadoff-
Chu (ZC) root sequences is recommended. During manual configuration, the following rules apply:
1. If two neighboring cells use the same or overlapping time-frequency resources for the physical random access
channel (PRACH), they must have different values of this parameter.
2. If a cell uses a preamble format less than 4 and provides coverage for a highway or an ultra-high-speed railway, this
parameter must be set by referring to constraints in the parameter relationship.
Note: When manually configuring root ZC sequences, ensure that both the first logical root sequence and each
subsequent logical root sequence are within the specified value range. For details about how to calculate the number
of ZC root sequences required to generate 64 preamble sequences, see 3GPP TS 36.211.
Cell radius <= 1400 m:Preamble formats 0 to 3 are applicable to an FDD cell, preamble formats 0 to 4 are applicable
to a TDD cell;
1400 m < Cell radius <= 14,500 m:Preamble formats 0 to 3 are applicable;
14,500 m < Cell radius <= 29,500 m:Preamble formats 1 to 3 are applicable;
29,500 m < Cell radius <= 77,300 m:Preamble formats 1 and 3 are applicable;
77,300 m < Cell radius <= 100,000 m:Preamble format 3 is applicable.

Initial Value Setting Source Impact
This parameter must be properly set so that two conditions are met: (1)
The PRACH RBs are strictly confined in the cell bandwidth; (2) The
Read & Write
PRACH RBs and PUCCH RBs do not overlap. This parameter is valid only
if PucchAlgoSwitch in the CellAlgoSwitch MO is turned off.
N/A
A larger value of this parameter leads to higher throughput in the cell but
lower total throughput in the entire network. A smaller value of this
parameter leads to lower throughput in the cell and also lower interference V100R001C00 Radio
to neighboring cells, which thereby results in higher total throughput in the
entire network.
The value of this parameter has a negative correlation with the cell
V100R005C00 Radio
coverage.
The modification to this parameter will affect the interference between the
PRACH of the current cell and the PUSCH of a neighboring cell or
between the PUSCH of the current cell and the PRACH of a neighboring
V100R005C00 Radio
cell.
The modification to this parameter will affect the maximum number of
consecutive RBs that can be scheduled on the PUSCH.
The starting position in the time domain and appearance period of the
PRACH can be specified based on the setting of this parameter.
A smaller PRACH interval can reduce the probability of preamble collision
during contention-based random access, and reduce the average access V100R005C00 Radio
delay.
A larger PRACH interval, however, can lower the UL resource utilization of
the PRACH.
Modifications on this parameter affect the orthogonality of the preamble
V100R001C00 Radio
sequences for the cell and its neighboring cells.
