    Executive Summary
    The Department of Education issues the
    Amendment to DepEd Order DO no. 13, s.
    2O18 titled Implemented Guidelines on the
    Conduct of Remedial and
    Advancement Classes During Summer for the
    K to 12 Basic Education Program
    to assist schools in identifying learners who
    are most in need of instructional support
    and layout mechanisms by which remedial
    classes during summer can be maximized
    to address learning gaps brought primarily by
    the abrupt pedagogical shift due to the
    pandemic.

    In an effort to ensure that maximum learning


    is met, the teachers prepared Enrichment
    activities aside from the Student Learning
    Modules (SLMs). The preparation of
    enrichment activities aims to enable mastery
    of different learning competencies in all
    subject areas. Enrichment activities provided
    by teachers aims to improve understanding
    and retention of said learning competencies.

    In line with this, MAPEH Teachers


    provided enrichment activities to maximize
    learners’ understanding and retention. For
    Grade 9 MAPEH, 4 enrichment activities per
    component covering multiple learning
    competencies were prepared by Ma’am
    Charish Dela Cruz.
