Self-confidence is one of the most fundamental aspects of the human psyche. It has an impact on our career, health, relationships with others, and, perhaps most importantly, our relationship with ourselves. I hope to explore the various manifestations of self- confidence in our lives throughout this article. If you grew up lacking confidence in yourself, your first goal should be to truly understand what we mean by self-confidence. I remember thinking of myself in high school as someone who could get along with almost anyone and fit in with even the most opposing of friend groups. It wasn't until the end of my freshman year of high school that I felt I'd found a group of people who truly understood me. All of my friends would talk about the upcoming tryouts for my school's dance team near the end of my first year of high school. I was initially put off by the prospect of putting myself out there in public in such a way, but the prospect of being a part of a close-knit team piqued my interest. Despite an underlying sense of insecurity, I was very reserved and shy at this point in my life, and hearing the words "tryouts" terrified me. it is an act to make the Rizal’s novel Noli me Tangere and El Filibusterismo compulsory reading matter in all public and private colleges and universities and for other educational purposes. f.
