PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. PROJECT TITLE:
Two Year-Income Generating Project (IGP)
“Vegetable Production as a source of fund for the needed tools and
equipment used in Gulayan sa Paaralan Program of Bacungan National
High School”
II. RATIONALE
“Gulay Na, Pera Pa Project” is an Income Generating Project that will

generate additional funds to be used for the needed tools and equipment used in Gulayan
sa Paaralan Program. It will be a project that will make use of vegetable plants as its product
to bring in money. Helpers of the project are those TLE-7 students under my class.
III. OBJECTIVE/S
1. To raise funds for the procurement of the needed tools and equipment used in Gulayan sa
Paaralan Program;
2. To serve as laboratory of learning for the different subject areas as indicated in the
instructional implications;
3. To build an understanding of and respect for nature and our environment;
4. To motivate students to have the passion in cultivating the soil;
5. To provide opportunities for hands-on learning, inquiry, observation and experimentation;
6. To promote physical activity and quality outdoor experiences;
7. To teach students to nurture and care for other living things while developing patience;
8. To develop appreciation among students the importance of agriculture in their lives as a
source income;
9. To provide an opportunity for inculcating among the students the value of work, industry,
and caring for the environment.
IV. METHODOLOGY
The project utilizes primarily the TLE garden, seeds, soil, empty sacks, and any available
plastic containers.

V. PARTICIPANTS
This long-term IGP program as a source of fund for the procurement of the tools and
equipment needed for the “Gulayan Sa Paaralan Program” will be headed by the subject
teacher/implementer participated by Grade 7 TLE students this year and the next 2 years,
students including their parents.
VI. VENUE AND DATE OF IMPLEMENTATION
Venue: School TLE Garden

Dates: March to June; September to February 2024 (2 years IGP)
VII. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS
The seeds used in planting the vegetables will be sponsored by the

Department of Agriculture of Leon B. Postigo.
VIII. MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The following will be closely monitored:

1. Plant vegetables.
2. Every Wednesday and Thursday are the schedule for taking care of the vegetable garden
and students will take pictures showing the development of their vegetable plants.
3. The vegetables will be sold to purchase the tools and equipment for the “Gulayan Sa
Paaralan Program”.
4. The tools and equipment will be endorsed to the TLE Department Head.
