Function of Organization

 Organizational functions are the activities


performed in a firm.
 These activities are classified into departments,
which are headed by department managers.
Functions
• Marketing:
Marketing refers to the process by which organizations identify
and satisfy customer needs profitably and efficiently

• Production:
Production is an organizational function that entails conversion
of raw materials into finished goods.
• Human Resources:
The human resources function deals with the recruitment,
selection and training of staff.

• Finance and Accounting:


Finance and accounting is a function that provides information
critical for decision-making.
• Research and Development:
Organizations consistently seek to grow and develop actions that
assist them in achieving their core objectives
