    At its core, leadership is about helping others. What is leadership without the might to help
    and to recover? Is there any required position to know when to offer your sincerest service?

    The Philippines experience an average of 20 typhoons a year. Storms and typhoons are
    only few of the inevitable perennial calamities we are facing. Last October 29, 2022,
    Bagyong Paeng (International name: Nalgae), hit our country — specifically Regions IVA,
    IVB, V, other part of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. However, because of the heavy rain
    brought by the typhoon and the water discharge from Magat Dam, there were areas in the
    City of Cauayan who experienced flood, The City Government started to address the
    immediate needs of the victims in different evacuation areas.

    In relation to this, the CCSASHS Administration identified a total of 139 students and 3
    teachers (Please see attached list) affected by flood specifically those who are living in low-
    lying and flood-prone areas. As leaders, like how we view ourselves, this is the time to do
    something — to stand, to help, and to bring refuge.

    01. Approach and Methodology

    Involved students wish to be excused in their respective subjects so that they may help
    in repacking the goods to be distributed. In-kind and cash donations will be accepted.
    Call for donations will start as soon as this proposal is approved. Information will be
    disseminated through the Facebook page of the Supreme Student Government and
    other school clubs and organizations’ page.

    Three different kits will be distributed: Packed Goods, Hygiene Kit, COVID-19 Kit.
    This will be given to affected students of Cauayan City Stand – Alone Senior High
    School by the recent flood.

    Below are the contents of each kit:


    Packed Goods
     3 packs of Noodles
     2 pcs. 155g Canned Sardines (Original Flavor)
     2 kilos of Rice
     5 pieces of Twin Pack Coffee (3-in-1)
     5 pcs. Energen

    Hygiene Kit
     1 piece of Bath Soap (Travel Size)
     2 pieces of Twin-Sachet Shampoo
     2 pieces of Twin Pack Toothpaste
     1 Toothbrush

    Medicine Kit
     1 sheet of Vitamin C (10 pieces)

    02. TIMELINE: Schedules and Possible Events (TENTATIVE DATES)

    Call for Donations – As soon as this proposal is approved

    Buying Items – Budget to be used are cash donations. Begin on November 3 / 4, 2022.

    Repacking of goods – November 4 / 5, 2022.

    Distribution of Goods for Cauayan City Stand – Alone Senior High School affected students
    – November 7, 2022.

    03. Cost and/or Required Workspace

    The Office of the Supreme Student Government encouraged each joining club to solicit
    an amount of at least PHP 1,500.00 / PHP 1,000.00 that will be utilized in purchasing needed
    goods for the kits.

    After goods will be delivered in CCSASHS, The SSG Officers are requesting a single
    room that will be utilized as the storage and repacking area.

    The target date for distribution of relief packs and kits is November 7, 2022, in this
    connection, may we request to utilize the SHS Gymnasium as the venue for the
    distributions.
