Meaning:Sarvodaya means the establishment of new social order on the basis of love and
non-violence. It is a powerful intellectual movement to attain social, moral and economic
independence as envisaged by Gandhiji. It aims towards the creation of a social order
from every form of authority.
The term was used by Mahatma Gandhi as the title of his 1908 translation of John
Ruskin's critique of political economy, Unto This Last, and Gandhi came to use the term
for the ideal of his own political philosophy.

Brief History
Rural development is a comprehensive concept embracing within its fold all aspects and
facts of life in rural areas. Conceptually speaking, its contents, as evolved in India, flow
from ‘Land Reform’ and it has figured very high on the national agenda since the days of
the struggle for independence. ‘The Congress party, which spearheaded the freedom
movement, began exhibiting concern for the rural areas under the leadership of Mahatma
Gandhi who first entered the Indian political scene in 1915 and whose heart lay in the
villages’. The importance of rural development was recognized long back and the origin
of rural development in India may be traced to the several isolated experiments in rural
construction, which were pioneered by different individuals and organizations during the
past several decades. In the early days the task of rural reconstruction was mainly in the
hands of voluntary organizations set up by eminent leaders with the full commitment for
rural betterment. Rural development is necessary because a vast majority of the
population lives in villages and the development of rural activities is essential to the
acceleration of pace of the overall economic growth and development of the entire
country. Rural development has assumed greater importance in India today than in the
earlier period in the process of the development of the country. It involves the strategic
packages seeking to achieve enhanced rural production and productivity, greater socio-
economic equity, a spatial balance in social and economic development.

INTERPRETATION OF EXPERIENCE
Outcome gained:
1
As an intern, Intern discovered it’s essential to be enthusiastic and open to
learning new Skills, asking for more work and being curious to learn and ask
questions. This attitude Will show that you enjoy being part of the team and that
you’re keen to help.
Having curiosity and enthusiasm also means that, as an intern, you get a lot out of
what You’re doing, which opens lots of opportunities.
During my internship, Intern had a journal and took notes every day about new
things Intern learned, feedback Intern was given by my manager, strengths and
weaknesses Intern noticed, and things Intern wanted to research and learn more
about. This helped me Understand myself more and identify the areas that Intern
needed to improve in.
Communication is the key to success in a professional environment. Intern learned
that It’s important to communicate with my manager via phone, email or SMS if
Intern has Questions or if Intern doesn’t know how to work on a task.
As an intern, good communication will help with productivity, efficiency,
engagement And growth. Asking for and receiving professional feedback is very
important. It is Essential to take note of both the positive and negative points for
the future, so you can Grow and excel in your career. Intern learned that
sometimes asking for feedback or Receiving feedback is difficult to hear, but it
will have a significant impact on your future Career and success. .
One of the key experiences recommended during your time as an undergraduate
is doing An internship
An internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful,
practical work Related to a student’s field of study or career interest. An
internship gives a student the Opportunity for career exploration and development,
and to learn new skills.
1
An internship can provide unique opportunities for learning outside of academic
settings. It can expose you to new tasks and help you learn goal-specific skills to
complete those Tasks.
In our work, we are drawing on strategies from the arts and humanities that
illuminate Subjective experience, particularly literary and media theory, critical
design, and the arts, With the goal of creating effective design practices in the face
of this irreproducibility.
From conducting comprehensive competitor analysis research, to design a
marketing and Communication plan, my knowledge of business and marketing
theories was transformed Into a series of practical techniques and skills that I can
now implement in real-life Business scenarios, all thanks to internship mentor.
During intern internship learned how to communicate and build relationships with
the People Intern worked with. Intern learned how to introduce myself, talk about
my Interests, knowledge and skills with entrepreneurs and business owners, as
well as how to Ask questions and gain a better understanding of businesses not
only in the co-working Space, but also others in the market.
This process overall helped me develop my Professional network and emphasized
the importance of creating these connections. which is obviously a great
networking Platform for professionals.
1
