CEBU SWEETS WAS FOUNDED LAST 2015 IN PARTNERSHIP OF ROMELA
NG AND ROMIKKA NG. IT IS A HOME BASED BUSINESS WHERE IT
SPECIALIZES IN SELLING BAKED GOODS SUCH AS: CHOCOLATE CAKE,
CUPCAKES, CAKE BALLS, CAKE IN A CUP, COOKIE CUPS, CRINKLES, AND
COOKIES, BUT NOT ALL PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE DUE TO THE LACK
OF SUPPLIES. IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS, CEBU SWEETS HAS ONLY
FOCUSED ON ONE PRODUCT WHICH IS COOKIES BECAUSE OF THE
DEMAND THEY'VE BEEN GETTING FROM THE SAID PRODUCT. THE
GROUP DECIDED TO TAKE OVER AND OPERATE CEBU SWEETS FOR A
MONTH, WHERE WE ASSIGNED DIFFERENT TASK TO THE MEMBERS OF
THE GROUP TO PROPERLY HANDLE THE BUSINESS.

Cebu Sweets recognizes both proactive and reactive marketing. The former is
about anticipating future problems and opportunities that may arise, while
the latter sees environmental forces as unpredictable and out of hand.
Selling products using e-commerce is an open secret, especially in this time of
pandemic. However, the real question at stake is the reach of the population,
because not everyone has access to internet and technology, especially in far-
flung areas and the elderly. Therefore, the best bet is to adapt to change
continuously because not everything in this world is static, and certain
decisions must be reverted.
EVALUATION AND ADJUSTMENT
As for the evaluation adjustment, we actually reflect on the strategic planning being
used for cebu sweets, determining whether if our current strategic plan is effective in
achieving our mission which is to satisfy cravings by providing the best quality
pastries. So far, in our experience, cebu sweets is doing good because of the division of
management which allowed each of us to be efficient and focus on certain aspects
whether in finance, operations, marketing and customer service. Based on our marketing
strategy, we can say that it is very effective since we were able to retain, as well as
attract new customers since we constantly market our products online which attracts
a lot of customers, considering the fact that there is a mass population in social media
and the current situation of the covid pandemic where there are only a limited number
of people going out. Also, the fact that we produce cookies which has a lower price
with high quality against competitors also gives us a chance to stand out. Currently
there have been no issues so far, and if there are issues regarding the tasks, that is the
time we re-evaluate and take corrective actions by checking of performance, standards
and reflect on the feedbacks of our customers for Cebu Sweets to last.
