STUDY PLAN
Academic Background
My name is Salman khan, and I have completed my matriculation and intermediate from
Government higher secondary school Kabgani, a well-known institute of my city. Based on my
excellent results I got admission in University of Haripur KPK, Pakistan (July 2017). I have done
my major in Geology from department of Earth Sciences Haripur University, Pakistan in
September 2021 with CGPA of 3.75 out of 4 or 80.82%. I was in active somehow indulgent student
among other during my Bachelor (16 years) studies, very often involved in many curricular and
co-curricular activities in fact, I was up to the mark and honored in the top 1st list of 42 students in
my class. If observed by the meritorious efforts I remained very competent and I have passed all
entrance tests conducted by the academic institution of my education with high achievements.
During the course of my graduation I studied several diverse subject e.g. Structure Geology,
petroleum Geology, Logging and log interpretation, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information
System, Computer Application in Geology, Geological Fieldwork, Applied Structural Techniques,
Carbone Sedimentology, Hydro and Advance Hydro Geology, Mineralogy, Sequence
Stratigraphy, Tectonic and Paleontology etc.
I also completed one year diploma in Information Technology at the Aim Institute of Science and
Technology Haripur, Pakistan in (February 2022) in which I obtained 82% marks or (A+ Grade).
So that’s why I have strong command on C++, Microsoft office, Graphic, Coral draw, Excel, Word
and PowerPoint etc.
Theses work and Practical Experience
In the Final years of my bachelor degree I worked on couple of Thesis such as, Microfacies
analysis and Benthic Foraminiferal Biostratigraphy of late Paleocene to early Eocene carbonate
succession at Najafpur south eastern Hazara, Pakistan, Mapping of carbonate succession in field
and also using various software in laboratory, Logging of cross section, find out the porosity and
permeability of carbonate rock of late Paleocene to early Eocene carbonate succession at Najafpur
south eastern Hazara, Pakistan and also worked on Geographic Information System, Coral draw,
Microsoft office and word etc.
Based on my excellent academics records and entrance score I was one of those students which
were selected in part time 6 months internship in (Geotechnical investigation and surveying) at Al-
Hussain Construction Company Al-Makah Plaza, First Floor, Mansehra KPK, Pakistan. Which is
one of the leading construction company in Pakistan and is also registered from Pakistan
Engineering council (PEC Registration # C-5/15256). In this company we not only performed
different kind of Geological Survey and Geotechnical tests but also learned how to work in team
under the supervision of highly qualified Engineer’s and Researcher’s.
After that I started my professional carrier is a Joiner Geologist in Al-Hussain Construction
Company Al-Makah Plaza, First Floor, Mansehra KPK, Pakistan and completed my 1 year part
time contractual job in February 2022. Now I am working as a Geologist on a project of Oil and
Gas Development Company (OGDCL), Pakistan which is one of the leading Oil and Gas Company
in Pakistan.
Present and Future plan

I mentioned early that I have completed my bachelor degree in Geology in September 2021 and
now I want to further continue my master’s study in China from University of Petroleum- Beijing
(College of Petroleum Engineering). Petroleum Engineering is a diverse subject and it play a key
role in the development of not only a country but also the whole World so that’s why I want to
start my carrier in Petroleum Engineering and play my role in the development of world.
After I finish my master’s study, I will try to find a job is a professional University teacher and to
become a good researcher in my field.
Introduction of my Background
I was born in a small village of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan as the second child of my family.
My father is a driver and perform duty in a private company while my mother is a house wife and
take care of home. After completion of my intermediate studies, in 2017 I entered in Haripur
University for higher studies and majored in Geology so because of my hard working and full
concentration I have a very good result in my graduation.
My Personality
By fact, I am socially active person with friendly nature, a good communicator indeed who is
blessed with many friends. I keep view to the reality of life thus approach people with positive
mind and attitude and always prove to be helpful with honest effort and true dedication. Besides
that I always feel very joyous and fortunate to meet and greet people belonging to different
background and cultures. Is such meeting are always important because they prove to be beneficial
in future also it makes thing easy to cope whether one work or studies in his own country or
outsides the country.
My Skills
I have Geological and leadership skills. I can manage any type complexity related to my job. My
leadership skills boosted my profile. My communication skills are excellent both verbal and
writing. I always deal with people politely that’s why everyone give me respect and considers me
as friends
Reasons to study in China

I decided to apply for the Master’s program in China as the culture and the beautiful lifestyle of
this country appeals to me strongly. Not to mention the high education level and demanding
program as well as great job opportunities and professional approach to modern technology. I think
that the chosen program will help me to gain both knowledge and experience to start a professional
carrier in Geology as well as promise me to fulfill my interests. The fast growing economy,
technological advancement and the global ranking institutes of China with high reputation make a
great aspiration to the students and professional for the better career perspectives. Thus such kind
of positivity has boosted my confidence further and I am highly satisfied with decision I have
taken. Moreover, China diverse cultural norms and values, the famous gentle hospitality of its
people and Pakistan- China all weather friendly relations since past to promote bilateral trade,
acceptance and peace to both sides in great clarity make me feel China is my second home land;
also my family fully supports my choice for China being my preference for post-graduate studies.
All these reasons put together to make China in ideal place for me to do my master degree.
With a solid foundation in academic theory and practical knowledge gained during internship
where I completed my internship during my Bachelor’s program
I belong to a middle family and I cannot afford fees to take admission in Master degree and living
expenses in China. Therefore I am applying on China Government Scholarship (CGS) using China
Scholarship Council (CSC).
