ACTIVITY 23.

1. Describe the process of curriculum development practiced by your college or university.

- The process of curriculum development of our university its giving a good information it
begins when issue, concern, on problem needs to be addressed. If education or training
a segment of the population will help solve the problem, then curriculum to support an
educational effort becomes a priority with human and financial resources allocated. It
gives us structure to make improvements to the course after evaluating us performance
and receiving end-of-semester-feedback.
2. Develop a flowchart describing how a curriculum proposal reaches the level of approval in

3. Identify the people involved and their level of involvement.
- The most important person in the curriculum implementation process is the teacher. With their
knowledge, experiences and competencies, teachers are central to any curriculum development
effort. Better teachers support better learning because they are most knowledgeable about the
practice of teaching and are responsible for introducing the curriculum in the classroom. The
teachers have to make an effort to know and understand it. So, teachers should be involved in
curriculum development. Therefore the involvement of all stakeholders, especially individuals
who are directly involved in student instruction

4. Discuss how your college/university addresses several issues and challenges and integrates
them in the curriculum.

- it is to determine the importance of each student's activities in what the teachers provide the
teacher evaluates what should be taught to us so that the teacher addresses the issues in
making the curriculum, our university pays attention to what needs to be done that is to say, the
challenges of our university are surpassed because it gradually informs every task and
knowledge of the curriculum. indicates that each challenge already involves a pattern of current
constraints on an educator’s ability to address that challenge while simultaneously offering the
possibility of opening the door to promising perspectives for critical thinking about changes in
the future for teaching and teacher education in diverse schools and classrooms.
ACTIVITY 24.
______________________________________________________________

1. Collect samples of syllabus in you school.

2. Examine how each syllabus considers the various factors affecting the identified curriculum
implementation.

- This example of our school syllabus Curriculum implementation entails putting into practice
the officially prescribed courses of study, syllabuses and subjects. The process involves helping
the learner acquire knowledge or experience. It is important to note that curriculum
implementation cannot take place without the learner. The learner is therefore the central
figure in the curriculum implementation process. Implementation takes place as the learner
acquires the planned or intended experiences, knowledge, skills, ideas and attitudes that are
aimed at enabling the same learner to function effectively in a society. Viewed from this
perspective, curriculum implementation also refers to the stage when the curriculum itself, as
an educational programme, is put into effect. Putting the curriculum into operation requires an
implementing agent. Stenhouse identifies the teacher as the agent in the curriculum
implementation process. She argues that implementation is the manner in which the teacher
selects and mixes the various aspects of International Journal of Applied Research 2015; 1(12):
984-986 ~ 985 ~ International Journal of Applied Research knowledge contained in a curriculum
document or syllabus. Implementation takes place when the teacher-constructed syllabus, the
teacher’s personality, the teaching materials and the teaching environment interact with the
learner. Curriculum implementation therefore refers to how the planned or officially designed
course of study is translated by the teacher into syllabuses, schemes of work and lessons to be
delivered to student
