At cold start of the engine during the compression of the air in the cylinder a condensat become (water vapor) and condense on the cold
cylinder liners. This condensat is as a unwanted white smoke seen in the exhaust gas.
Additional appearences during cold start are misfiring and general cold start problems.
Solution: advanced injection at cold engine; later injection at warm motor.

1 - Oil control line
2 - Thermal spring
3 - Pilot valve 5 4
4 - Check valve
5 - Spring
6 - Pressure chamber
7 - Working piston 3
Oil pressure comes from a internal control line (1) to the thermal spring (2). The thermal spring (2) is on its rest position and oil is guided
via pilot valve (3) and check valve (4) to the pressure chamber (6) of the working piston (7). Spring (5) and engine oil pressure moves the
working piston (7) against the spring of the injection pump. The movement effect that the punger of the pump move to advanced fuel
delivery. This means an advanced injection of about 6°.

3 - Reset spring pilot valve 3

7 - Pressure chamber
8 - Working piston 1
Warm oil is in the valve chamber of the tappet and the thermal spring (1) changes its force. The thermal spring (1) overcome the force of the
reset spring (3) of the pilot valve (2) and lift the valve up. The pilot valve (2) close the line to the pressure chamber (7) of the working
piston (8). The check valve (4) close. Because of no oil can go to the pressure chamber (7) of the working piston (8) the force that keep
the working piston (8) in advanced fuel delivery drop. (Spring (6) work without oil pressure). Because of the force of the injection pump
spring the oil in the pressure chamber (7) is drained via the drain bore (5). The start of fuel delivery is "later".
