“SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”

INTRODUCTION:-
SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is the one that enables users to create and store
security guards attendance records. This also fulfils the requirements of the particular as per their
needs.
This would be helpful to department of the organization which maintains data of securities
related to an organization.
In this system particular login id and passwords are given to an individual’s to ensure there
attendance and for how long they have worked.
Every organization, whether big or small has to face human resource challenges to overcome.
Every organization has different security needs , therefore we design security system
management that are adapted as through given specifications according to there needs. The one
main feature of security management system is attendance tracking for the guards that has been
provided.
 EXISTING SYSTEM:-
The problem definition for designing the system is to maintain data of the guards and other
services that has been provided, for now all the details are stored in a register and are written
every day which indeed is time taking and not that accurate.
The system for now needs extra manual efforts, the existing system is standalone process
normally one cannot track their attendance and status.
It moreover is less accurate, there is always a danger of losing the files. In existing system
certain required report is not available. For now it is a time consuming process.

 Proposed System:
This SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is used for keeping the record of the guards and
other amenities provided in an organized organization such as school, banks ,industrial sites,
college ,universities etc. Our project aims designing an guard attendance system which could
effectively manage the attendance of guards at institutes ,organizations, banks etc. this would
maintain a database which has the details of guards such as their names ,unique id, aadhar
number, image, destination, date of joining etc. guards instead of signing in the attendance
register, they can simply enter their unique id. The details of the member related to the id will be
appeared and the admin can check it in real. This image comparison will also help in avoiding
proxy attendance by others.
# Scope of Proposed System

This system provides a detailed structure about the Security Services , there attendance ,
current work area, there salary etc . This would be helpful to department of the organization
which maintains data of securities related to an organization.
This would also help to use technology for accurate and timely processing by fully privacy and
full authority access.
It is developed for daily guard attendance in organization, it facilitates to access the attendance
information of a particular guard in a particular company he has been provided to work for.
The main modules involved in this system are :
1 . Login module is used to check whether the user is an authorized person
Or not .for this user should give the correct user name and password.
2 . Forms :- This module consist of the following sub modules ,
 New Guard Registration Form

 Customer Registration Form
 Allocate Guards to Required field work area
 Guards Attendance form
 Salary calculation of Guards and overall Details form
3. Reports:-
Reports can be easily generated in the proposed system so user can generate the
report as per the requirement (monthly) or in the middle of the session.
 Advantages Of Proposed System :-
• User Friendly - The proposed system is user friendly because the retrieval and storing of data is
fast and data is maintained efficiently. Moreover the graphical user interface is provided in the
proposed system, which provides user to deal with the system very easily
• Reports are easily generated : reports can be easily generated in the proposed system so user
can generate the report as per the requirement (monthly) or in the middle of the session.
• Very less paper work : The proposed system requires very less paper work. All the data is feted
into the computer immediately and reports can be generated through computers. Moreover work
become very easy because there is no need to keep data on papers.
FEASIBILITY STUDY :-
Economically Feasibility:-
The system being developed is economic with respect to organization’s security point of
view. It is cost effective in the sense that has eliminated the paper work completely.

The system is also time effective because the calculations are automated which are made
at the end of the month or as per the user requirement .The result obtained contains minimum
errors and are highly accurate as the data is required.
Technical feasibility:-
The technical requirement for the system is economic and it does not use any other additional
Hardware and software.
And the requirement for the best performance of our system requires only the following
things or configuration as:-
 1.44 MB Floppy drive
 40 GB Hard drive
 128 MB RAM
 Pentium- 4
 15”Monitor
Our project can easily cope up with all the above available equipment for providing efficiency or
desired output required by user.
Behavioural Feasibility:-
The system working is quite easy to use and learn due to its simple but attractive interface. User
requires no special training for operating the system.
Operational Feasibility:-
The system is highly secured and easy to use as well. The reports generated are point to point,
no special training or alternative software is required to solve the problem. In case of any fault
found user can directly approach admin moreover.
