DISTRICT TEACHER’S DAY SCRIPT
PART I. OPENING PROGRAM
Sir Christian: Ladies and gentlemen, today’s celebration and awarding is about to begin. Let me remind you to turn your cellphones in silent mode. We also encourage you to express your pride by applauding and cheering. Thank you. (Program proper) Maam Chastine: “There is no magic to achievement, it is really about hard work, choices and persistence”, words to ponder from Michelle Obama. Truly, today’s signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge and passion; knowledge and passion that will able a person to embrace opportunities and take on challenges with clear vision and purpose. Sir Christian: To our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Rachel R. Llana, our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Mary Julie A. Trus, to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Maam Imelda S. Moreno, to Hon. Atty. Philip A. Dacayo, our Municipal Mayor, to Hon. Eduardo Tiongson, our Vice Mayor, to our dearest Principals of Solano I, to you my dearest teachers, awardees, BOTH: Welcome to the Solano I District Teacher’ Day Celebration, cum Project ACER Awarding Ceremony with the Theme, Teachers: Leading in Crisis, Reimagining the future. Sir Christian: With so much cheer, let us welcome the SIKAT and Project ACER Awardees for their processional. Teacher Chastine: Andy Hargraves once said, “Teaching is a very emotional practice. It creates, it colors, it changes our lives.” Certainly, there can be no better profession that educates, informs, inspires, encourages and at the same time teaches us to inculcate a way of life and most importantly prepares us for a world that is not easy to handle. As an old adage says “Teaching is the noblest ______” Sir Christian: To officially start our program, may we request everyone to please rise as we rekindle our patriotism through the singing of our National Anthem, to be followed by a fervent prayer for the divine intervention of our mighty Creator, to be led to us by Maam Ma. Magdalena S. Guzman, Principal of Concepcion ES. Maam Chastine: We may now be seated. Kamustahan/ Roll Call (with Taglines/Cheers) Maam Chastine: At this point, may we welcome with a warm applause, the Principal of Solano East Central School- Integrated SPED Center, Maam Gemma N. Sta Ines, for her welcome address. Sir Christian: Wisdom, hope, and encouragement fuels the passion of every individual to stay focused and continuously move forward. Let us prepare not only our ears but even our hearts as we listen to the opening remarks of our ever dynamic and motherly Public Schools District Supervisor, Maam Imelda S. Moreno. A round of applause please. Maam Chastine: It is only the school that can provide the potentialities of man. And John Amos Comenius, concluded that the school is a true forging place of men. It is for this reason that we are here gathered this morning, my friends in the service, to acknowledge the participants and to give honor to the people who runs the different schools in our district, the backbone of every learning institution, considered as the unsung heroes of the Department of Education, molder and mentor whose function is to mold the youth from mud into a big stone. And it is US teachers. Happy Teachers Day! Sir Christian: Are you ready to be entertained? I cannot hear you. Are you ready? Let us welcome our pride, the Retro Dance- Solano I Group. Palakpakan naman dyan! Maam Chastine: Ayan, dahil alam naming nabitin kayo sa isang intermission number lamang. Isa pa ba? Do you want more? We will give you more! Let us welcome them with a cheer, the Mash Up Group of Solano I. Sir Christian: Parang ang sarap gumalaw galaw no Maam Chastine? I think it’s time for the Zumbakbakan of Solano I District. Ready na ba kayo? ____ Maam Chastine: At napagpawisan na nga lahat. Icheck natin ang ating mga make up, baka nahulas na ha. Pero fresh looking pa rin lahat! Sana all. At this moment, let us hear the message from Hon. Eduardo Tiongson, the dedicated Vice Mayor of our Municipality. Sir Christian: Without further ado, let us all lend our ears, and focus our attention to the message of a man who has distinct vision and with fountainhead of illuminating ideas of continuously improving this productive and growing municipality, help me in welcoming our municipal mayor, Hon. Atty. Philip A. Dacayo. Maam Chastine: To complete this extraordinary event let us listen to the inspirational message of this extraordinary woman of countless and clever philosophies, the navigator of this flagship of leadership of Nueva Vizcaya, I think she deserves a standing ovation as our way of recognizing her countless efforts in inspiring and encouraging every teacher to strive hard in their chosen profession. A round of applause for our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Rachel R. Llana. PART II. AWARDING CEREMONY Sir Christian: We know that at this moment, you are all excited for this part of our program. Pinaghandaan at pinaghirapan natin itong lahat syempre! Without much ado, we will start the awarding ceremony of Project ACER. To start with ... (Read the description) (Check the programme) Maam Chastine: Congratulations to our dearest teachers! You deserved to be recognized and awarded for all your countless efforts to provide the best learning experience to our dearest learners.
