Taking risks

Why taking risks is necessary to


be successful? What are its
effects?

In 2021, when I graduated from high school, I decided to


move to the city to continue my university studies and
follow my dreams. Despite the fact that moving to a new
location would be difficult for me, I accepted and was
willing to take the risk since I believed that it would bring
me more advantages than I expected. Taking risks can
greatly impact an individual’s experiences, limitations,
and confidence.

First of all, taking a risk is capable of helping people get


out of their limitations and dare to do things that have
never been done before. In fact, this will help individuals
understand their passions, strengths, or what people can
do, not just what they already have. Moreover, this can
also help individuals overcome their fears and difficulties.

Secondly, people can gain valuable experiences from


taking a risk. Actually, risk-takers can expand their
knowledge and skills while facing dangers and risks.
Besides, this can provide precious lessons and help them
realize their shortcomings to improve in the future.

Finally, when individuals take a risk, it can boost


significantly their confidence. In truth, after overcoming
many challenges and risks, people will have more
confidence in themselves, or their abilities and be willing
to accept many other risks in their life.

In conclusion, if each person dares to go beyond their


comfort zone and face the risks and difficulties, achieving
many benefits in every aspect of their life will be the
foreseeable possibility.

Why are more and more people doing extreme sports?

When I graduated from secondary school, I had the


opportunity to participate in an extracurricular activity
organized by my mom's company in Thailand for one
week. Although I was scared and nervous before trying
these sports, experiencing them made me feel extremely
excited. After this great experience, I understand why
more and more people like extreme sports nowadays.
There are various reasons for this such as it can reduce
people’s pressure, help them learn new skills, and pushes
their limits.
First of all, extreme sports help individuals gain valuable
knowledge and have the opportunity to equip themselves
with necessary skills. For example, first aid when having
an injury, or how to handle unforeseen dangerous
situations. Moreover, they also have special training
courses so that they are able to solve the difficulties and
challenges that they encounter when participating in
extreme sports.
Secondly, people do extreme sports because it can reduce
significantly their pressure. In fact, these kinds of sports
can relieve stress and negative emotions at work as well
as in life. Besides that, spending time doing extreme
sports can restore people's energy after a tiring and
stressful work week.
Finally, extreme sports help individuals get out of their
comfort zones and overcome their fears. Actually, this
type of sport invites people to get out of their daily
boring routine and have a memorable experience.
Furthermore, doing extreme sports will also help them
know more about their passions, strengths, or what people
can do, not just what they already have.
In conclusion, from a quick analysis of the situation, it is
quite evident that extreme sports have become popular
and chosen by many people because of their benefits.
