words that are intended to establish instructions, rules or orders as the

case may be, the argument of the text must indicate to the person who

OVEN ROASTED CHICKEN WITH POTATOES AND ROASTED ONIONS:

To prepare a delicious baked chicken with potatoes and onions, you will need the following

ingredients:

INGREDIENTS

1 whole chicken or 4 whole thighs

4 medium potatoes

4 medium onions

olive oil

salt and pepper

dried thyme

PREPARATION

We start by peeling the potatoes. Once peeled, cut them into thin slice, no more than 1

centimeter thick. Then, we put them as a base on a baking tray. We also peel the onions and

cut them into thin strips. We put it on the potato and season everything.

5
Then we put the thighs on top of the potatoes and the onion. We add a glass of water and a

splash of olive oil to everything. This will make it juicier while baking. We make sure that

there is always moisture at the bottom of the fountain. That way the garnish won't burn.

Season and add a good pinch of dried thyme to each thigh (or to the whole chicken, if you

have chosen the whole piece)

We put the chicken in the oven at 220ºC if you use thighs. heat up and down. Let bake for

about 30 minutes, until nicely browned. If you use a whole chicken, we bake at 190ºC.

When it is well browned, we take the tray out of the oven, we turn the pieces over. This will

cook the other side.

Immediately after, we put the tray back in the oven. Finally, we let cook approximately the

same time, until everything is well cooked.

Baked chicken with potatoes and onion ready! As a result of putting the garnish at the bottom,

we will take advantage of the little juices that the chicken releases during baking. These will

mix with the garnish and we will have an explosive mixture of flavors!

HOMEMADE RUSSIAN SALAD RECIPE

Ingredients for 4 people

 For the salad:

 1 medium potato

2 boiled eggs

 1 tin of tuna

 30 g peas

 50 g of green olives

2 carrots

 1 roasted red pepper (they sell them canned)

For the mayonnaise:

 1 egg

 200 ml of oil

juice of half a lemon

 SaltPreparation:

11
 In a tall container we put the raw egg, the oil and a pinch of salt. Then, we put the blender to the

bottom and beat for about 10 seconds. After that time, we raise it a little and beat for about 5

more seconds. From here we can beat without problem because the mixture will no longer be

cut. Once it is smooth, add the juice of half a lemon, and stir well with a spoon.

 In a saucepan with plenty of water, put the potato and add the whole carrots. Bring the water to

a boil and let it cook for about 20 minutes.

 In another pan (it can also be the same one where we cook the potato and carrot. This way we

make less mess) we put the peas to cook. We cook for another 10 minutes.

 We make the Russian salad. In a bowl, add the yolks of the boiled eggs and crush them with a

fork. Then we add the peeled potato, carrots and roasted red pepper, all cut into cubes. We put

the peas and the olives in pieces. Add the tuna and the whites of the boiled eggs, finely

chopped. Finally add the mayonnaise and mix well.

We can serve the Russian salad instantly. However, if we let it rest in the fridge for at least a couple

of hours, its ingredients will settle and it will be even richer. Very easy, simple and quick dish to

prepare. and above all homemade and delicious thanks to our particular mayonnaise, that

homemade always works very well. A very healthy main dish that should be on everyone's lips

RECIPE OF PIQUILLO PEPPERS STUFFED
WITH SEAFOOD

Ingredients for 4 people

For the peppers:

 16 piquillo peppers

 300g of prawns or shrimps

 300g of clean squid

 1 onion

 3 carrots

 4 garlic cloves

 200ml cognac or white wine

 salt and pepper

 oil

 To make the béchamel

 50 ml of olive oil

 50g of flour

 150 ml of milk

 150ml shrimp broth

 salt and pepper

HOW TO MAKE PEPPERS STUFFED WITH SEAFOOD WITH SAUCE

15
 Peel the prawns and reserve them in a bowl. We don't throw away the shells. We are going to

make a fish broth with them: in a casserole, we introduce these shells and cover them with

water. Heat over medium heat and when the water begins to boil, let it cook for about 20

minutes. After this time, we drain the prawns from their water and reserve this broth.

 Once this is done, we prepare the filling for our peppers stuffed with seafood. In another

casserole or wide frying pan, add a drizzle of oil and heat it over high heat. When it is hot,

add the chopped shrimp meat and the finely chopped squid. Add salt and pepper and mix

both ingredients while they cook for 1 minute. Then, we remove the shellfish from the heat

and reserve it on a plate

 Lower the heat to medium and, in the same pan, add the 50ml of oil and the flour. Stir well

with a rod while everything cooks for 1 minute. The idea is to make a béchamel sauce for

our seafood stuffed peppers seasoned with the broth that we had prepared at the beginning.

 When the flour has toasted, add the milk and mix again with the whisk so that the milk is

integrated with the flour and oil. At first we will get a kind of dense mass. Add about 150ml

of the broth and continue stirring until this broth has been integrated with the rest of the

ingredients. We correct for salt and Pepper and return the prawns and squid that we had

reserved. We mix so that everything is well integrated. Let this filling cook for about 10

minutes over a very low heat and then let it cool so that it compacts well.

 While the seafood filling cools down, we prepare a sauce that will accompany our peppers. In

another frying pan, we put a drizzle of oil over low heat. When it is hot, we add the garlic

cloves, the onion and the carrot, all well chopped. Add salt and Pepper, mix these ingredients

and let everything cook for around 15 minutes

16
 It is the turn to stuff the peppers. With a teaspoon we take a little of the filling that we have

prepare and introduce it inside the pepper until it is completely filled. Once we have finished

filling our pepper, we reserve it on a platea and continue filling the rest of the peppers

 When the vegetable stir-fry is cooked, turn up the heat and add half a glass of brandy or white

wine. We let it cook for 1 minute so that its alcohol evaporates. Next, we add the peppers that

we have left over, the juice that the peppers have released in their rest and the remaining shrimp

broth. We stir to integrate all the ingredients and we crush the sauce of our peppers stuffed with

seafood

 Finally, we add the already stuffed peppers to this sauce one by one so that the stuffing doesn't

come out. We make sure that these are well covered with sauce and let them cook in it for

another 10 minutes. we serve.

LA VIÑA AUTHENTIC CHEESE CAKE RECIPE

Ingredients for 6 people:

 575g cream cheese or Philadelphia cheese

 4 eggs
 200g of sugar
 275ml whipping cream (approximately 33% fat)
 1 tablespoon of wheat flour

HOW TO MAKE THE ORIGINAL LA VIÑ A CHEESE CAKE

 In a bowl we put all the ingredients. We mix them well, until they integrate well with each
other. If we do it with a rod machine, the vineyard cheesecake will have a much smoother
texture, but with a fork it can be mixed perfectly.

 Once they are well integrated, we put this dough in an oven mold previously lined with
parchment paper or baking paper, to prevent it from sticking. With these quantities, an
18cm diameter mold is the most suitable, although a 20 or 22cm mold is also useful.

 We introduce the mold in the oven previously heated to 200ºC. Let cook here for about 40
minutes, until the cake is well curdled inside.

 After those 40 minutes, we turn off the oven and let the cake cool completely, with the door
half open. Once it has cooled, remover the vineyard cheesecake from the oven and let it rest
overnight in the fridge, before serving.

Suffix:

Suffix definition: A suffix is an affix that is postponed to the lexical base or lexeme of the word. The
suffix, in this sense, is a type of morpheme that is added after the lexeme or root of the word.
Suffixes, like prefixes, are not independent words, but affix elements, lacking autonomy, which
must necessarily join a lexical base, to which they provide various significant values, giving rise to
new words or variations of gender or number.

Cognates

A cognate is a pair of words that have the same etymological origin but their phonetic evolution
and, therefore, their spelling, is different. That is, cognates are similar words in their writing that
have the same meaning.
In general, cognates are made up of words from different languages. Normally when we talk about
cognates, we mean a Spanish word that resembles an English word, but it could be from any other
language.
For example, the Spanish term salary and the English term salary form a cognate, since they share
meaning and their etymological origin is the same (that's why they are written practically the same).
Generally, the cognates are due to the fact that the two words come from the same term. However,
since each language has its own evolution, the same original term has ended up being transformed
into two different words.
