    The house of my dream

    Every person has his own idea of a perfect house. Since the time immemorial people always wanted
    to make their dwelling a place, where one feels comfortable and cosy, where one always wants to
    come back to.
    I would like my house to be somewhere in a quiet and cozy town by the sea or just in a warm and
    sunny place because I do not like cold and winter.A dwelling of my dream is not a flat but a two-
    storeyed mansion. It is located in quite residential area on the outskirts of the city. It is also
    surrounded by forest. Waking up to the sound of trees and birds' voices is a dream .

    And as a real hostess I’d like to arrange my house according to my taste. It is built of bricks and
    painted white, and its roof is made of tiles in a bright blue color, so it looks fresh and cool even when
    the weather is hot. Around my house there is a large courtyard with flower beds and a rose garden.
    There is a garden with various fruit trees and beautiful flowers in front of the house, where I would
    often walk listening to the birds singing. There are also beautifully trimmed shrubs, and in the far
    corner of the yard there are two pines between which a hammock is stretched. Near my house there
    is also a small pool with sun loungers around. The fence around the house is also made of bricks with
    nice wrought-iron gates.  There is a balcony and a terrace in my house. A wonderful landscape can
    be seen through the arched windows of the mansion.

     Now, let me tell you about my house. When you come to me, you push a big wooden front door,
    wiping your feet on the door-mat, and enter the hall. The floor is covered with a fitted carpet, the
    wallpaper is light and has a small pattern. There’s a seat and a small table near the wall and a huge
    mirror above it.

    The kitchen should be light, ample and full of hi-tech appliances. There are only a few units of
    furniture, such as a table and a couple of high chairs. The room has all the necessary household
    devices for storing and cooking the food. For example, a refrigerator, a cooler, a dishwasher, a
    microwave, an espresso machine, a steamer, a toaster, etc. It’s an ideal place for peaceful breakfasts.
    Lunch and dinner should be served in the dining-room, which is also a wide room with some
    furniture. There should be a large wooden table with four or six wooden chairs. It should be of
    contemporary design with dark walls and a white chandelier. A few pictures on the walls should set a
    friendly atmosphere. The study is situated beside the dining-room. It’s a small room with a tall
    bookshelf, a desk and a chair. This room might look a bit old-fashioned, but that’s how a genuine
    study is supposed to look.

    One of the most important parts of every house is the bedroom. The place, where people sleep,
    should be couched in cozy atmosphere. A dream bedroom should be spacious with many hidden
    lockers and corners. There is a king-size bed and one giant picture above it. There is also a flat-
    screen TV in front of the bed. The windows are rather large with heavy curtains. My dream bedroom
    should necessarily have a small closet with a bunch of hangers to hang all of my jackets. The
    bathroom is situated right next to the bedroom. It isn’t large with only a sink, mirror, a shower and
    a toilet. The sink is embedded into a creamy colour countertop. There is a mirror above the sink and
    a towel storage area under it. Apart from the rooms in my dream house there should be a
    spacious garage. Because I am fond of cars and want to have a collection of them.

    In conclusion, my dream house will stand out among other houses because of the setting I create,
    design and good lighting at during the night will catch everyone eyes when they drive threw my
    house. Most importantly, my dream house must give me the feeling of satisfaction because all the
    handwork have paid off.
