    Subject : DESIGNATION AS COORDINATOR – SPORTS, CULTURE AND ARTS


    ______________________________________________________________________________

    You are hereby designated as Coordinator for Sports, Culture and Arts effective August
    1, 2022. As such you are expected to perform the following tasks in addition to your
    responsibility as a faculty member of SorSU Castilla Campus:

    1. Sports
    a. Recommends plans for the development of the athletics and sports programs
    and activities for the benefits of the students and personnel of the Campus;
    b. Organizes and supervises the activities and the operation of the services;
    c. Screens and recommends the composition of athletic teams for SCUAA and
    other athletic events requiring competitions with outside teams, including
    invitational games;
    d. Coordinates with Campus Director and Program Chairs on all activities of the
    Services;
    e. Takes charge of the issuance of permits for the use of the athletic grounds
    and facilities;
    f. Prescribes procedures for the proper use, maintenance, safekeeping and
    control of athletic supplies and equipment;
    g. Maintains athletic records and prepare and submit programs and financial
    and annual reports to the equipment;
    h. Does liaison work and represent the Campus on matters pertaining to
    athletics and sports development; and
    i. Prepares budget proposals and requisition of supplies/equipment needed for
    the service.

    2. Culture and Arts


    a. Formulate plans and policies concerning students cultural and co-curricular
    activities;
    b. Organizes cultural troupes such as dance, drama, choral, band and rondalla;
    c. Supervises the training of such cultural troupes for commendable
    performance inside and outside the University;
    d. Discovers and develop the potentialities of students for their social, cultural
    and economic growth and development
    e. Coordinates with Program Chairs regarding cultural and co-curricular
    activities of students;
    f. Conducts research for the enrichment of the cultural and co-curricular
    activities of the students;
    g. Coordinates with the different cultural agencies in the community for the
    improvement of the service
    h. Perform other relevant and related official functions, duties and
    responsibilities as may be prescribed by the Campus Director.

    This designation will not entail additional compensation except for reimbursement of
    expenses incurred in the approved performance of duties and responsibilities outside the
    official station.
