Research Conduct

Peer pressure is a social dynamic that most individuals have


encountered. The people we socialize with have a significant
impact on us. However, young adults and students may find it
difficult to handle the many kinds and levels of peer pressure. We
Background of the Study frequently turn to our peers for advice, comfort, and a sense of
community. Peer pressure is therefore an influential force that has
the potential to negatively impact children's and adolescents'
health and well being.

The study wants to determine the effects of peer pressure on the


decision making of the students.
Statement of the Problem 1. How does it affect the students academic performance?
and Research Questions 2. Do I want to stop being affected by peer pressure?
3. Is peer pressure positive (good) or negative (bad)?
4. How does it feel when some members of your peer group
pressures you especially on your study?

The purpose of this study is to know the effects of peer pressure


on the decision making of grade 11 HUMSS students and to know
how they cope up with it.
Purpose of The Study

VISION : A life giving innovating education ministry committed to transforming community of learners into Christ –
centered Augustinian Recollect Stewards.
More people may pay attention to how they act and may notice on
how they pressure the students, and to know how the students try
to keep up with the pressure that they give.
Significance of the Study

This research will only cover the academic year 2022-2023 which
centers on Grade 11 HUMSS students of Immaculate Heart of
Mary Academy.
