Me and I Self
Instructions: Create a collage of your self-concept with the “I” and “Me” dimension Write a brief
explanation of your collage at the back of this Activity Sheet. Limit your explanation up
to 5 sentences only.

The ”I”, according to James William, refers to the subjective self, while the “me” refers to the
objective self. The I is the emotional or subjective aspect of the self, while the “me” is the cognitive or
objective aspect of the self. The I refers to the inner or subjective feeling of oneself, whereas the “me”
is the concrete physical representation of oneself. For instance, the “I” is one’s feelings of happiness or
sadness, while the “me” is associated with one’s beliefs, habits, and actions.
