2 Installation instructions
2.1 Hydraulic connections • Fitting the boiler connection kit (fig. 5)
The connection must comply with good trade practice --Remove the front panel.
according to local building regulations. • 1 - Take out the expansion vessel.
The appliance must be connected to the installation • 2 - Remove and suppress the exchanger’s flow pipe.
with union connectors and shut-off valves to facilitate
• 3 - Install the boiler connection kit.
its removal.
Reminder: Seal everything when fitting in accordance ""Carefully comply with the direction for fitting
with prevailing trade practice for plumbing work: the distribution valve.
--Use suitable seals (fibre seals, o-rings). A: way A open: heat pump + boiler operating.
--Use Teflon tape or hemp. B: way B open: heat pump operating alone.
--Use sealing paste (synthetic depending on the case). • 4 - Make an incision in the insulator and clamp the
flow sensor on the facility’s flow pipe. Apply adhesive
tape on each side of the incision.
Good contact must be maintained between the heating
flow sensor and the pipework. The contact surface
between the piping and the sensor should be free of
rust and paint.

Remove the room thermostat Remove the room sensor if the boiler Remove the room thermostat
control system permits this or render
the sensor inactive (deactivate the
influence of the ambient air and
adaptive automatic mode).
Set the boiler control to AUTO mode. Match the boiler’s heating gradient to that of the heat pump.
The areas in which the outdoor sensors (for the heat pump and the boiler) must be adjacent to each other.
Controlling the boiler: Lower the summer-winter changeover temperature to 5°C.
Set the heat pump’s control parameters as required in HP configuration / Connection boiler [(A) only],
or in lines 88 or 3700 and 89 or 3705 [(B) only].
For a previous Heating floor system, set "Post-circulation" = 0min [(A) only],
or set parameter 89 or 3705 to zero [(B) only].
