    Prepare a presentation entitled "Confident Me".  Use the resource below in

     What are appearance pressures?  How have appearance pressures changed


    over time?  Reflect back on a 10–20-year period.

     Where does body image, self-esteem, and self-worth pressures come from?
    Think beyond media (this is one). Where else do these pressures come
    from and why?

     What do we mean by media? Show 5 examples from various media with


    explanations. Detail is critical here.

     How can images be manipulated?  Why are professional media often


    created in this way and what problems can this cause for young teens?
    Feel free to speak on your own gender, or both.

     What can you do about the idea of Confident Me? Ask yourself: what
    makes me/can make me Confident? This is the final section, so make it
    Exemplary.

    For this Presentation:


     You may choose any of the formats listed to share your presentation as
    long as it can go into the Dropbox (Google Slide/Doc, PowerPoint, Video). If
    you have another idea, let me know before beginning the assignment.
