    This place is situated in Batangas, Region 4, Philippines, its geographical coordinates

    are 13° 45' 34" North, 121° 3' 36" East and its original name (with diacritics) is
    Batangas.

    Geography

    Batangas City lies in the southernmost part of Batangas, facing Batangas Bay. It is


    bordered by San Jose to the north, Verde Island Passage to the south, Ibaan, Taysan, and
    Lobo to the east, and San Pascual to the west. The Calumpang River crosses the city from
    northeast to southwest.

    that will keep your camera busy during the night and will make your stay worth while.

    Batangas Province is also home to some of must see beach in batangas, tourist spots,


    festivals, with arts & culture from music, dancing, sporting and more.

    Climate- Summersin Batangas are short, with the


    hottest month being August and the coldest month
    being January. The months of January to April, as
    well as November and December, are ideal for visiting
    Batangas in the Philippines
    Transportation- In Batangas the tricycle is a major means of
    transport in getting around towns and barangays. The tricycle can be
    rented to reach a specific destination. Traveling from a town to another
    town, or if it is more than 5 kilometers, a jeepney ride will be your most
    likely kind of transportation.
    Museums- The Museo Puntong Batangan (city museum) is the flagship cultural initiative of Batangas City.
    Designed primarily to instill a love for Batangueño culture in young people, the museum showcases the city’s history
    and traditions through exhibits, visual and audio presentations.

    Museo ng Batangas is the province museum that serves as a depository


    of Batangas culture, lifestyle and history. The museum is created by
    Executive Order #30-93 signed by Batangas Governor Vicente Mayo on
    March 3, 1993. It is a private museum holding archaeological and
    ethnographical collection relating to Batangas and other provinces in
    the Southern Tagalog Region. It also holds deposits of Batangas
    memorabilia that keeps the cultural wealth active and alive.

    Arts-The town of Taal, Batangas had a long tradition of hand embroidery since the turn of the
    century. Its intricate, well-embossed hand embroidery made it increasingly a refined art of society. It
    boasts of its highly callado (a kind of filigree work wherein yarn in painstakingly pulled off from the
    cloth) as one of the finest in the world.

    Batangas Tagalog, also known as "Batangan," is a


    Languages-

    Tagalog dialect spoken primarily in the provinces of


    Batangas, Quezon, Laguna, and Mindoro (the natives are
    referred to as "Batangueo/a"). The dialect is distinguished
    by a strong accent and a vocabulary that is more closely
    related to ancient or "old-style" Tagalog. In contrast to
    Manila Tagalog, it is not customary to speak in Taglish or
    to use English terms in everyday conversation in
    Batangan.
    Famous foods- bulalo- flavor of a warm bowl of bulalo in Batangas.
    While these dishes may get close, they can never capture the entire
    essence of this delicacy. probably the most basic and simplest version of
    bulalo. If you are not familiar with this dish, it is a type of Filipino beef
    shank soup in clear broth. 
    Batangas lomi- Lomi was made known in 1968 by To Kim Eng, a Chinese
    immigrant in Lipa City who served this dish to his mah-jong friends.
    Because of its good taste, he then started getting orders of lomi. Soon
    after, he, together with his wife Natalia, started their own Lipa City
    Panciteria, the first lomi house in the city.
