    Where would be the best place for the ‘first mass’.The first mass is the
    Philippines was held on March 31,1521 and it is easter Sunday.Filipinos are arguing
    where the first mass was actually held in Philippines.Some said it happened in Butuan
    and others said in the limasawa.

    There’s many inconsistent information in this topic.First inconsistent


    information is “where did the first mass actually take place.They have pieces of
    evidence to prove that the first mass in the Philippines happened here.Second “Which
    direction did Ferdinand magellan’s expedition go,is it towards Butuan and limasawa?”.In
    order to know where the first mass was actually held you need to first where did
    Magellan’s expedition landed because after they landed in an island he ordered a mass
    which is the first mass in the Philippines in order to celebrate.

    I agree that the first mass happened in the limasawa.There’s many


    credible evidence that the first mass happened in there.First, Francisco albo’s diary
    which states that magellan’s expedition is going towards the southern end of
    limasawa.Second, Antonio pigafetta’s testimony regarding the route od expedition.He
    also maps and sketches that leads to Limasawa.

    uprising of 200 Filipino troops and workers at the Cavite arsenal, which became the
    excuse for Spanish repression of the embryonic Philippine nationalist
    movement.GOMBURZA was tagged as the mastermind of the cavite munity,who falsely
    accuse of mutiny by the Spanish colonial authorities.GOMBURZA was trying to fight for
    the right of their fellow native priest against Spanish abuses. The Cavite Mutiny is an
    aim of natives to get rid of the Spanish government in the Philippines, due to the
    removal of privileges enjoyed by the laborers of the Cavite arsenal such as exemption
    from the tribute and forced labor.

    The way I see it, “issues with conflicting matters” — historical or otherwise —
    are precisely the ones that need to be debated. The purpose is to educate and
    persuade. People should be thoroughly informed of such “matters”. The Palestinian
    Problem, abortion, war, genocide, euthanasia, racial prejudice, women’s rights, police
    brutality, torture, politics, terrorism, climate change, etc.: the conflict can’t be resolved or
    decided by ignoring or denying it.
