The origin of Ancient People

Forms of life
Reptiles were considered the first animals which is why it was called
the Period of Reptiles. Dinosaurs are the most notable species in reptiles
before man was known to exist. During the Ice Age, man were known to roam the
Earth from different parts of the world such as Africa, Asia and
Europe and it is theorized that the first people did not originate
from one place. These were called the Homo species. They were found to
date back to 2.5 million years ago and were also found to have three types
according to scientific studies. There was the Homo Habilis, who was believed
to be the first to make stone tools. There was the Homo Erectus, which had
human-like characteristics and had two types, Peking and Java. Last but
not least, the Homo Sapiens who had the highest level of thinking of
the Homo species. A popular theory among Christians is God's creation of
Earth found in the first chapters of Genesis where God took 7 days to create.

Human evolution, by Darwin, is defined evolution as a process of "descent with

change"
believing that some organisms within a species had varied traits that made them
healthier and more likely to reproduce. Over time, these traits became more
dominant
in population, which also explains extinction of some traits.
From this information, Darwin predicts
that all life evolved from a common ancestor millions of years ago. He concluded
that
certain traits and genes are better suited to an environment, allowing organisms
with
these traits having a higher chance to survive and reproduce. This explains how an
uncommon gene eventually became dominant in population because of its ability to
survive
well. Biodiversity makes a population stronger because change is constant and the
process
of evolution goes on. Some evidence to back up these claims include when horses
used to
look like foxes and slowly descended into acquiring hooves after moving from
forests to
open plains.

Prehistoric times are when people lived before history was ever written which was
around
3000 BCE, making it possible for prehistoric people to have inhabited this world
more than 1,000,000 years ago. During the paleolithic period, known as the old
stone age,
they depended on the bountiful environment around them, doing things such as
hunting,
fishing, forging and sufficing their livelihood needs. The stages in the
development of
the Prehistoric Period include the paleolithic period in 500,000 BC (old stone),
neolithic
period in 10,000 BC, and the Metal Age. In the paleolithic period, people were
mostly
nomads, moving around looking for resources and also discovering their most
important
discovery; fire. In the Neolithic period, they learned to eat cook, plant and farm,
lived in caves, and imitated pottery. In the Metal Age, they discovered copper,
bronze
and iron. Most weapons were made with bronze which is a mixture of copper and tin.
Prehistoric times also did not have writings or records of these but with the help
of
discovered artifacts and such, scientists were able to learn about this.

is the Homo habilis, a group similars to the Homo erectus and are
believed to be the first to make tools out of stone. Next in line is
the Homo Erectus, estimated to be the most direct ancestor of the Homo
sapiens and has two types, Peking and Java. It has human-like
characteristics such as walking upright, making stone tools, knowing
how to use fire, hunt and fish. Remains of Homo Erectus were found in
asia, Africa and Europe, dating back to 500,000 years ago. Cagayan
Valley is estimated to be the oldest human evidence in the Philippines
according to experts. However, only stone tools and animal remains were
discovered. Last in line are the Homo Sapiens, known to have a higher
level of thinking than the other two. They lived as families in caves,
buried corpses, and made simple but useful tools as well as practiced
primitive art. Based on remains found, this group had large brains,
small teeth, large legs, and stood more upright than the other human
groups.

The first day, he created the heavens and the earth, which had no form, was dark
and
was wholely deep waters. The second day, he made the firmament heaven and so the
evening and the morning came to be. The third day, he made land and plants.
Fourth day, he said "Let there be light." and so the sun, moon and stars were made.
Fifth day, he created more life by bringing birds and sea creatures to life.
Sixth day, he made land animals and humans to Earth. Seventh day, he finished it
by blessing it and sanctifying it.

Lower Paleolithic Period is known as the earliest human presence on Earth which
ended
around 120,000 years ago. Even tools were not created yet. Neanderthalensis (circa
200,000
to 30,000 years BP) Cro-Magnons created the art of cave painting. Stone Age is
called the
Neolithic Period or the new Stone Age derived from the Greek words neos meaning
"new" and
lithos meaning "stone." The term neolithic is used in archeology and anthropology
to
categorie a level of evolution or change in lifestyle and technology.
