The Pizza company was founded in 1980 in
Thais (Thais launched its own Brand on
March 17, 2001) manage operations by Mr.
Patt Pongwittayapipat, general manager of
The Pizza Company
The Pizza Company was the original Product
of Italian-American cuisine, run by Minor
International(Merged with the Minor Food
Group).
The Pizza Company began expanding
branches and international rights across the
country in 2004.
By 2020, the company had more than 532
stores across the country and more than
10,000 employees in 12 countries.
The Pizza Company Cambodia bought
Franchise to open its first store in Cambodia
on July 25, 2005.

❖ Competition in marketing depends on various


factors. When two companies are in competition
with one another, they offer similar products or
services. Since both companies operate in the
same industry and offer similar value to the
customer, they typically attract similar audiences.
This can create conditions where one company is
more favorable to customers and the other
company wants to attract more of those
customers. Competition often influences
companies to focus more on innovation and
strategic marketing practices to make its own
products and services seem more appealing.

With stores in the city and 6 provinces – Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang,
Sihanoukville, Takhmao (Kandal), Poi Pet (Banteymeanchey) and Kampong Cham.

operational activities of organizations include,
purchasing of inputs, raw materials, and capital
goods, hiring of labor, processing of the goods and
final distribution to customers.
