Case-A-Thon Guidelines
• Round 1: Online Elimination Round: The participants shall be presented a case on the theme
of the conference by 22nd May, 2023 and they shall submit their analysis on or before 29th
May, 2023. An expert panel shall judge the case analysis and select the finalists for the next
round.
• Round 2: Presentation Round: The finalists shall be required to complete their registration
by filling the registration form in order to present their analysis of the case before a panel
of expert judges on 2nd june, 2023 at Unstop. Participants are required to submit a short
video(2-3 minutes) presenting the conclusion of their solutions. These videos will be
played during the Google Meet session, and afterward, a cross-questioning session will
take place.

29th May:- Last date for PPT submission
30th May :- Result of round 1 and Round 2 start
1st June :- Last date for submission of conclusion video
2nd June:- 2nd round End
4th June:- final result
Participation Procedure :
The competition is open for undergraduate and postgraduate students across all
branches.
A team must comprise of 2 to 3 participants.
Team members must be from the institute.
A participant can be part of only one team.
Multiple teams can participate from one institute.
Students across different years/batches can participate in a team.
The case shall be made available to the participants on 22nd May, 2023
Teams selected for the 2nd round shall be notified through social media pages of E-
Cell.

All selected teams must confirm their intent to participate in the presentation
round by filling the registration form by 31st, 9:00 p.m. Failure to confirm shall
result in disqualification.

Presentation round shall be held on 2nd june, 2023 on Google meet platform .
Guidelines :
Prohibition of ChatGPT Use: use of ChatGPT or any similar AI assistance is
strictly prohibited. any evidence of ChatGPT use will lead to immediate
disqualification from the event, reinforcing the importance of maintaining fairness
and integrity
propose realistic strategies that can be implemented in real-world scenarios.
solutions demonstrating depth and practicality will receive higher evaluation
scores, highlighting the importance of actionable insights
The case should be prepared in the form of a presentation (.ppt), sent in PDF
format and should be of maximum 9 slides.
The slides should include the following:
o 1st slide will be introduction slide that includes the case study title, participant's
name or team name, and any relevant affiliations or acknowledgments.
o Last slide will Include thank you and listing the references or sources
consulted during the case study.
o Remaining 7 slide will be used for analysis of case study
o Use the following format for the file name: [Team Lead Roll
Number]_[First Name].
Example: 2020UGCE000_Anshu.pptx
personal details such as team member names, team name, mobile number or
email id shall be provided anywhere except on the first slide.
Case analysis shall be judged on the basis of clear understanding of the problem,
innovative and feasible solution, approach and methodology, conclusion and
recommendation and overall presentation.
The institute reserves the right to disqualify any team that violates the
rules/guidelines or act/s in an unprofessional manner.
Under all circumstances, the decision of the expert committee shall be final.
Prizes :
Winner – Rs 700
1st Runner up – Rs 500

All the teams appearing for the presentation round shall be awarded participation
certificates.
