Let’s discover the
origins of these beings
through Scripture
In the beginning God
created the heavens
and the earth.
Origin of Angels
Then God said, “Let there

be a firmament in the
midst of the waters, and
let it divide the waters
from the waters.”
Genesis 1.6
Thus God made the
firmament, and divided
the waters which were
under the firmament
from the waters which
were above the
firmament;
And it was so. And God
called the firmament
Heaven.
Thus the heavens and
the earth, and all
the host of
the host ofthem,

When were Angels
Created?

Lets look at the book of
Job first
“Where were you when I
laid the foundations of
the earth? Tell Me, if you
have understanding.

Who determined its
measurements? Surely
you know! Or who
stretched the line upon
it?

To what were its
foundations fastened? Or
who laid its
cornerstone, When the
morning stars sang
together, And all the sons
of God shouted for joy?
And now Psalms 33
By the word of the Lord
the heavens were made,
And all the host of
them by the breath of
His mouth.

From these passages we
can understand that
“Sons of God”
and
“Hosts”
refers to the celestial
beings.
Paul reveals something
about the (celestial)
heavenly bodies:
 Flesh
 Celestial Bodies
1Corinthians 15.35
Paul continues
All flesh is not the same

flesh, but there is one
kind of flesh of men,
another flesh of animals,
another of fish, and
another of birds.
1Corinthians 15.35
There are also celestial
bodies and terrestrial
bodies; but the glory of
the celestial is one,
and the glory of the
terrestrial is another.

We are meant to
understand from these
passages that there are
other created beings.
The existence of Angels
is taught in the
Scriptures and they are
mentioned in
almost every book of the
Bible
Angels are spirit
beings those who have
no wings (when on
earth) and who can
appear as men on earth,
If they appear in a feminine

form with wings it is demonic

appeared as angels to

face toward the ground

Angel of God came to the

Angels that are
feminine in form and
have wings are
representative of
Wickedness

Angels appearing in

angels of light and evil.
They are wicked unclean
spirits.
Who are Angels and
what is their function in
relation to mankind
Angels are sent as
ministers to those
who are heirs of
salvation.
Hebrews 1.14
Are they not all
ministering spirits sent
forth to minister for
those who will inherit
salvation?

Yet the Scriptures declare
to us we will judge the
angels.
Do you not know that we

will judge angels? How
much more matters of
this life?
There are assigned
positions of angels such
as the chief princes who
are guardian angels over
people and principalities
over cities and nations
Michael – Guardian Angel
Michael is the Arch angel

(chief) prince: all angels are
under his authority. A prince
is an angel over a country.

Some Angels are mentioned

Gabriel is a courier he
is an angel who brings
revelation and

These Angels walk and talk
among us in such a way that
we may not be aware of them
unless they reveal
themselves.
“do not forget to entertain
strangers, for by so doing some
have unwittingly entertained
angels.”
Hebrews 13.2
So if these angels govern
the world and minister to
us why would the Bible
teach that we would
judge Angels in the world
to come
Know ye not that we
shall judge angels? how
much more things that
pertain to this life?
1 Corinthians 6:3-4
What did the angels do
that requires judgment?
Jude makes reference
to these fallen angels
And angels who did not
keep their own domain,
but abandoned their
proper abode, He has
kept in eternal bonds
under darkness for the
judgment of the great
day

For if God did not spare
angels when they
sinned, but cast them
into hell and committed
them to pits of
darkness, reserved for

Moses informs us of
these beings when
he wrote

that the sons of God

On the Lord saw and

the thoughts of his heart

that He had made man on

grieved in His heart.

Samuel Speaking to Saul
Then you shall go on forward from
