Audio-visual aids are effective media/ instruments of
education or health education. By listening to them, or by
seeing them or by both the methods, the individual can
get health education. Their use makes it easy, for the
teacher to define the subject. Audio-visual aids are
extremely effective for the learner, specially the illiterate
or the semi-literate. Educating the children with the help
of these devices creates interest in them, towards
education.

Audio-Visual aids can be used on the basis of mental


capacity of the group, it’s understanding, educational
status, availability of time and resources. Their number
can also be determined, as per the requirement of the
subject matter and the teacher. Here, it should be noted
