Solanki plastic is the manufacturer & supplier of all types of plastic goods
as well as we do all work related to road construction like job work,
thermoplastic paint,supply of cat’s eye and road safety system as well as
sign board . The company undertakes all maintenance duties for facilities
and organizations and conducts all the security and surveillance for the
properties.
*Solanki plastic is India’s largest supplier plastic sheathing for PQC.
Financial Considerations The company expects to reach the desired
profits in the first year and does not anticipate serious cash flow

Dowel Bar Sleeve M.O.R.T.H. Clause: 602.6.5.5 & 602.6.5.6

Uses:

Sleeves are used to de-bond dowel bars from concrete to facilitate a sliding movement of the bars within
the sleeves upon expansion, contraction of panels. Sleeves must be robust in construction so as to not
crack or tear from minor impacts caused by placement of the dowel bar filled sleeves into cradles or paver
trolleys. They must be smooth enough so as to pass the slip test stated below for conformance to MORTH
code. And most importantly, they should be of thin wall thickness to minimize concrete cracks caused by
compression sleeves under load.

Failure of sleeves can lead to cracking of panels due to dowel locking.

Variants:

Solanki Plastic manufactures sleeves in Virgin & Reprocessed variants.

Our Virgin Sleeves are batch tested for conformance to MORTH code and come with test certificates to
guarantee the same. The virgin quality of sleeves can be identified by their transparency.

Reprocessed Sleeves are made from recycled plastic and are hence more economical. However as there
is inconsistency of the raw material. Test certificates cannot be offered for the same.

M.O.R.T.H. Clause: 602.5

Separation Membrane

Uses :
Separation Membrane is used in concrete roads to enable the PQC layer to slip atop the DLC layer as well as to
create an impermeable barrier between the PQC – DLC interface. This barrier prevents permeation of water and
chemicals between the two layers through percolation or capillary action.

Advantages :
1) Reduces surface defects and cracks in PQC.
2) Batch tested for conformance to MORTH, MOST & IRC code.
3) Price efficiency while maintaining high quality.
4) Fuel / Solvent / Water impermeability under intense weather conditions.
5) Excellent tensile strength, abrasion and puncture resistance.
6) Continuous layer structure & smooth surface free from puncture holes or any other physical defects.
7) Resists puncture or tearing from impact of concrete during laying and abrasion during compaction.

Description:
These are continuous Layer structure sheets made of olefin based polymeric resin formulations.

Design Criteria :
Formulations for the Separation Membrane is designed keeping in mind the end goal of reducing cracks in concrete
by enabling efficient slip & impermeability while maintaining elasticity and toughness. For this purpose specialized
resins are synthesized to impart superior physical properties. High tensile strength imparts the elasticity required for
resisting tearing upon impact on sharp rocks on the Separation Membrane during unloading from Dumpers, Hyvas or
TMs. A proprietary Iso-Thermal Extrusion process imparts the required surface properties for retaining smoothness
after the abrasive action of vibrating sand and aggregates during spreading & compaction of concrete.

Uses:

As a filler material in joints provided beneath the sealant to impart shape & optimize the sealant quantity,
increase the bonding area of sealant to adhering side surface.

These are microcellular closed cell P.E.Foam profiles being manufactured in two grades.

These compressible debonding strips are designed to meet all modern requirements & to overcome
problems of old conventional system.
These back-up materials are designed to impart shape & optimize the sealant quantity.

Backer Rod I.R.C. Code 15-2011

Uses:

It is used as backing for elastomeric sealants in Horizontal Joints in Rigid Pavements Its circular section provides a
convex shape to the sealant giving it a minimum strain shape. It also aids in preventing three-point contact of the
sealant.

Advantages:

1) Prevents Three Point Adhesion.

2) Excellent movement accommodations
3) Excellent bond breaking ability
4) Avoids Air Bubble in Poured Sealant
5) Acts as water barrier and is chemical resistant.

Application:

Backer rod is applied using hands or using a blunt tool to avoid damage to product. It should be placed in the joint so
as to acquire minimum sealant depth as specified. Generally diameter of backer rod to be used should be 20-25%
more than the width of the joint.

Packaging:

Backer rod is supplied in the form of bundles ie rolls of the specified diameter. Special sizes and dimensions can be
supplied on request subjected to feasibility and quantity.

Polyurethane Sealant M.O.R.T.H. Clause: 602.2.10

Description:

ElcoSeal PSPG is a high performance, self leveling, chemical resistant elastomeric joint sealant.
Due to its high polysulfide polymer content, it is resistant to many chemicals, shrinkage, aging,
thermal stress and the effects of outdoor exposure. It is highly resilient and has excellent recovery
characteristic after extended period of compression or elongation.

Recommended Uses:

Specification:

BS – 5212:1990 – Type FB (Fuel and Flame resistant) for cold applied joint sealant system for
rigid pavements.

Application Instruction:

A. Cleaning/Joint Preparation
The joint should be applied on bone dry surface only after the concrete has fully cured.
Edges should be perfect right angles. There should not be any acute angles. Chamfered or
rounded edges are preferred. The pavement edges/joint surface should be strong & free of
all defects, loose particles, moisture, oil, dust, grease etc.

B. Priming
Apply ElcoPrime porous primer on surface using a clean brush ensuring both the faces of
the concrete pavement is primed to the required sealant filling depth.

C. Pouring Joint Sealant

Empty out the curing agent in to the base in the can. Use a slow speed drill machine / mixer
fitted with a spiral stirrer and mix for 10 minutes. The product is ready to be used when you
get a uniform smooth paste without any streak of grey or white color. Install a backer rod in
the joint to be applied with sealant. Pour the mixed sealant in the prepared joint. Sealant will
get leveled in the joint. Ensure that the sealant is provided with a landing of atleast 5mm
from the pavement surface. Please contact our local representative for further detail.

Service life and Maintenance:

Anticipated life : 10 years (subjected to following terms and conditions)

Correctly applied, the sealant should not require maintenance. Hence it is required to strictly
adhere to Application Instructions mentioned above to ensure a service life of 10 years.
Hence the application of the same to be done by an experienced contractor who shall bear our
certified applicator assurance.
However, sealant that has become damaged can be replaced by cutting out the effected area,
cleaning & priming the joint surfaces and applying fresh sealant as in the original manufacturer’s
specification.

Packing and Shelf life:

4 x 4 kg in a carton and 4 x 6 kg in a carton. Shelf life is 12 months from date of
manufacturing in unopened condition

Health & Safety:

The curing agent contains Manganese Dioxide. The base is labeled as “Irritant” and curing agent
is labeled as “Harmful”

Texturing Brush

SOLANKI PLASTIC manufactures Texturing Brush for performing texturing operations

conforming to
M.O.R.T.H. code. The texturing tines are made from specialised steel alloy formulations for deep
depth of texturing & long life of the brush.

Our Texturing Brushes are available in 3 variants :

 TCM Brush: TCM Brush use as an attachment for the Texturing Curing Machine. It is
available in wide widths for use in Wirtgen and G&Z TCMs. Brushes of required width and
tine spacing can be manufactured as per customer requirements.
 Manual Brush: Manual brush is rod driven and is used when panels are laid manually or
when there is a breakdown of the TCM. SOLANKI Manual Texturing Brushes are made light
weight for easy handling.
 Rope Driven Brush: Rope Driven Brush is used at locations where transporting the TCM is
not possible, where wide width panels are laid. A rope driven mechanism is used for pulling
the texturing brush while angular load principles are used for controlling the depth of texturing
