ONLINE TRAINING ON COMMUNICATING VOLCANO,
Program Title EARTHQUAKE, AND TSUNAMI HAZARDS FOR
MALIWALO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
Division Memorandum No. 63, s. 2021, announced the list
of selected teachers of Tarlac City Schools Division who
will attend the 2021 Capacity Development for PHIVOLCS
Stakeholders from April 14, to May 7, 2021.

In line with this, as participants in the said webinar, we are


entitled to conduct a series of online training or
symposiums to advocate an increase in awareness and
participation of learners in ensuring disaster
preparedness.

With the following objectives:


Program Rationale & 1. To strengthen students' participation in disaster
Objectives management decisions.
2. To realize students' right to safety, survival,
protection from violence and harm, adequate health
care, and education, all of which are compromised
in the event of a disaster.
3. To Reduce the disastrous consequences of natural
calamities.
4. To conduct a series of symposiums to promote
awareness and resilience among the students
during natural calamities and disasters.
5. To conduct poster-making, slogan-making, and an
essay-writing contest that promotes awareness and
resilience regarding natural hazards.
