The handset is a tool with many functions. It can be used only STATUS DESCRIPTION
with the GE "LX" series of SCR & Transistor controls. The CODE
handset is used to monitor traction and pump motor system status CARD INPUTS
or to adjust the settings of the control card. BLANK No input voltage to card and/or display
-01 No park brake switch input
-02 FWD switch closed on initial power up
! ! ! WARNING ! ! ! -03 REV switch closed on initial power up
Make sure you Read, Understand, and Follow the information -04 1 MS switch input low after initial start up
provided in the Clark Service Manual for the particular Clark forklift -06 Accelerator depressed with no direction selected
you are servicing before attempting to do any trouble-shooting, -07 Accelerator volts too high
service, or adjustment. Incorrect adjustments can cause vehicle -08 Accelerator input voltage too low on power up

Before connecting or disconnecting the handset to the control -16 Battery volts too high
card, make sure to raise the drive wheel(s) off the floor, move the -17 Wrong card type selection
key switch to the off position, disconnect the battery and CONTACTOR PANEL
DISCHARGE THE CAPACITORS. -23 FWD & REV contactor coil current low
-24 Voltage at T2 too high

refer to the service manual for the specific Clark forklift you are -26 Shorted coil driver for RB, SP or FW

-45 1 REC did not turn ON properly

-46 Look ahead test for T2 volts (> 88% battery volts)
1 Stored status code -47 2 REC did not turn on properly
2 Creep Speed -48 Look ahead test for T2 volts (< 12% battery volts)
3 Controlled Acceleration & 1A Time -49 5 REC did not turn on properly
4 Current Limit -50 1C capacitor volts low
5 Plugging Distance (Current) -51 Capacitor volts high with high motor current
6 1A Drop out current -52 Capacitor volts high with low motor current
7 Field Weakening Pick Up (T cards, High Perf) -53 1REC fails to turn OFF during plugging cycle
7 PA4 Input Switch Selection (M cards) -54 Shorted F, R, or 1A coil driver
-57 Current Sensor input voltage polarity check
8 Field Weakening Drop Out (T cards, High Perf)
9 Regen Braking Current Limit (T cards, High Perf) REGEN BRAKING
10 Regen Start (T cards, High Performance) -70 Regen current sensor input missing (yellow)
-71 Regen current sensor input missing (green)
11 Speed Limit (SL1) (T cards)
-72 Regen contactor does not energize
11 Speed Limit for PA5 or PA6 (M cards) -73 Regen contactor does not drop out or drops out too

14 Speed Limit 4 (Lift) -148 Look ahead test for T2 volts (< 12% battery volts)
16 Internal Resistance Compensation -149 5 REC did not turn on properly
