1. CHOOSE A LANGUAGE TO LEARN.
- ENGLISH - FRENCH - CHINESE After considering all three aforementioned options of choosing a language to learn, i reckon that English would be the most appropriate one because of 2 main reasons: The first reason is although it comes second to mandarin in the total number of speakers, English is the language you’ll be able to use most widely, as it’s spoken in more countries than any other language. The second reason is The English alphabet is straightforward. Making it easier to master than the symbols or pictures that make up some languages. Regarding the others, French and Chinese are quite difficult, Chinese is not a phonetic language as well as French, there are masculine and feminine words to remember-like “le chien” not “a dog”. 2. CHOOSE A PLACE FOR YOUR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION AFTER TEN YEARS. - SCHOOL CAMPUS - RESTAURANT - CLASS After considering all three aforementioned options of places to celebrate a 10-year reunion party, I reckon that the restaurant would be the most appropriate one because of two main reasons. The first reason is the customer service. Specifically, all we need to do is to book/reserve a service package and then enjoy the well-arranged celebration together The second reason is the environment, which is more modernized, highly facilitated and spacious in terms of indoor playground for our children. Regarding the others, school campus and class are quite small and poorly facilitated. Besides, we have to self-decorate and clean up after the party, which are time-consuming. 3. CHOOSE A FUNDRAISING IDEA TO RAISE MONEY FOR ENDANGERED ANIMALS - INDIVIDUALS - CAMPAIGN - CONCERT After considering all three mentioned ways to raise money for animals which are in the verge of extinction, I reckon that launching a campaign would be the most effective. The reason behind this is that a campaign is a series of events which can attract a great number of individuals and organizations to get involved in. Therefore, it is a high possibility to raise a large amount of fund to support wild animals. Regarding the others, raising funds by calling for each individual is kind of on a personal scale -> inefficient. Concert: a fundraising concert costs a large amount of capital on facilities, staff, celebrities, which has a risk of capital loss in case there are too many tickets left. 4. CHOOSE A TATOO TO HAVE - LETTERS - IMAGES - SYMBOLS After considering all three mentioned types of tattoo, I reckon that tattooing letters would be the most suitable to me. Reason: elegant, inspiring. Ex: inspirational expressions remind me of striving for my better life. Regarding others: + images: a bit pricey to me. As a student at university, my budget is a bit tight, so tattooing an image is unaffordable. + symbols: Part3: 1. TEAMWORK - ADVANTAGES So, I agree that working in pairs helps students learn better at school. There are three main reasons to explain for this. Firstly, working in pairs gives students the opportunity to learn from others. They know what their friend’s strengths and weaknesses are, and this will be a good chance for them to learn good things from their friends. Secondly, pair work can help improve social skills and interaction. Students have to share ideas with partners and by doing so, they will gradually be better at many skills. Finally, doing pair work will help students become more active. If students work alone, they will just sit quietly and not doing much. But when they work with a friend, they will share and discuss their ideas. That’s how students become more active. So, to sum up, working in pairs helps students learn better at school. 2. WORK-OUT Everyone knows that regular exercise is good for the body. Excercise is one of the most effective ways to improve your health for several reasons. Firstly, work out improves your moods. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier, more relaxed and less anxious. Physical activity can also help you connect with family or friends in a fun social setting. In conclusion, working out has many benefits both physically and mentally, so we should work hard to exercise everyday. 3. FAME As you know, everyone wants to be famous but I’m going to tell you why being famous isn’t a good thing for several reasons. The first reason, celebrities do not have the privacy that an ordinary person has. The most personal details of their lives are splashed all over front pages of newspapers and magazines. Photographers haunt celebrities at their homes, in restaurants and on the street, hoping to get a photo. In addition, celebrities must also cope with the constant pressure of keeping refutation. Their physical appearance is always observation. Famous women, especially, suffer from the spotlight, drawing remarks on their age or weight. Lastly, famous people are also under pressure to act calm and collected under any circumstances, because they are observed and no freedom. In my opinion, being famous might be awesome, but it’s difficult to live with and it doesn’t compensate all those disadvantages. Althougt, many people desire to be famous, an ordinary, calm life is far saner than a life of fame. 4. JOB CHOICE Nowadays, when people apply for a job, they often concern about salary, work environment and their own interest in the job. Firstly, people apply for a job so that they can get good salaries to support themselves and their families. Maybe, salary is the first thing for them to consider when they begin to work somewhere. Therefore, they can’t work any more if they can’t earn money enough to live. Secondly, when choosing a job, people normally consider the work environment. They may want a suitable place, for example, near their house or in a good place with fresh air and pleasant climate. Nobody wants to work in a polluted place with dirty air and dangerous for their lives. Finally, people may apply for a job because they are very interested in. Many people have dreamed of a career, so they want to train for this career and long to work with their right profession. In conclusion, people apply for the profession for above mentioned reasons. When getting their right job, they can work more effectively and make good contributions to the society. 5. TRAVELLING In recent years, travelling has become more popular than ever. For instance, individuals can travel to several well-known locations, taste new cuisine, discover new cultures and wonders in other locations, and so on. The opportunity to make new acquaintances and meet new people is the last benefit of traveling. They may talk about their own cultures and populations. Consequently,Traveling provides people with a variety of life-changing experiences. In short, travelling has many benefits for people so it is becoming a important part of our lives. 6. ALTERNATIVE ENERGY - ADVANTAGES: Alternative energy sources play a crucial in the development of the country. They have a lot of benefits which can help every country develop many other areas in life. Firstly, they assist us save costs for exploitation, and save energy to process and use them. We can use that expense for more important things, such as volunteer work, healthcare, education,… this also helps us to ensure the health of our workers when they don’t have to hard work and under high pressure. Secondly, the use of alternative energy sources can reduce the exploitation of limited recources that are being exhausted. Some non- renewable resources such as fossil fuels and groundwater will be replaced by energy sources such as wind power, solar energy and hydrogen technology. Lastly, alternative energy also help protect the environment, human health and economic growth. Inefficent recource exploitation policies can cause problems of environmental pollution like soil, water, deforestation, and cause consequence such as climate change, global warming which affect human health. In short, alternative energy has many advantages not only environmental protection but also rasing the quality of people life. 7. TECHNOLOGY - ADVANTAGES: You cannot imagine your world without technology. Today it is one of the essential things that the world needs. So now, I am going to talk about the benefits of it. Firstly, it saves times: today, time is money. Therefore, technology helps to save a lot of time and increases efficiency and productivity. We can complete huge tasks within less time. For example, If you don’t have the time to buy clothes, just shop online, and you will get the delivery at your doorsteps. In addition, technology has made communication just a button away. With a click of a button, you can make calls, send emails, fax, order things online, and do a lot of things with the help of technology. In short, technology actually brings many benefits to human such as saving time, increasing productivity and much more. - DISADVANTAGES: Many people use it for their growth, but some use it to harm society and the ecosystem. Firstly, Health issues: People today are so obsessed with technology that they forget to care about their own health. This affects their health in different ways. They have eye-sight problems, obesity, insomnia, and a lot more. Some people cannot sleep without using their phones. Secondly, People get involved in seeing unwanted things: due to the internet, people, especially students and youngsters, get involved in seeing the wrong apps. They are using apps that are not legal and good for their growing minds. There are people who have an addiction to gambling online which has its own diverse effects. In addition to anything, even technology is bad. In short, if technology is abused too much, people will be affected physically, mentally and intellectually. 8. IMMIGRATION - REASON Immigration have become highly important topics of modern time for several reasons. Firstly, socio-economic factors are common reasons for leaving one’s homeland. Most migrants go to developed countries to find a high-paying job that can help them support their families. For instance, Vietnam workers tend to migrate to Korea and Japan to work instead of doing low- income in the coountry. Political push factors that influence migration are typically persecution based on political identification, civil war and/or policy changes. For example, India have recently created an agricultural policy that would negatively impact its farmers, pushing people to leave for their livelihoods. Environmental factors that push people to migrate can be circumstances such as scarce resources, crop failure, pollution, natural disasters and climate change which is bringing flooding and drought. In conclusion, migration comes from many causes and now this is becoming a trend. Therefore, the state needs to have suitable policies to ensure social order. 9. LEARNING LANGUAGE - REASONS/ ADVANTAGES Learning a foreign language can be a rewarding and enriching experience, with many benefits for both your personal and professional life. Learning a foreign language can improve your career prospects in several ways. For one, it can make you more attractive to potential employers, as many businesses and organizations operate internationally and value employees who can communicate with people from other countries. Additionally, learning a foreign language can open up new job opportunities and industries that may not have been available to you before. For example, if you learn Spanish, you may be able to work in a Spanish-speaking country or in a company that does business with Spanish-speaking clients. According to the American Psychological Association, 40-50% of marriages in the United States end in divorce. Impact on Children Divorce doesn’t just affect the couple who is splitting; children feel the impact, too. A disadvantage is the negative impact it will have on children. Toddlers will often believe they are to blame for a divorce, while teenagers may feel pressured into siding with one parent or the other. A child of divorce may develop commitment issues and doubt his ability to marry. Some may also suffer depression because of the break- up of their family. Psychological Effect on Adults An argument against divorce is its negative effect on a couple’s psychological health. Divorce has been rated the number one life stressor. Adults can suffer a negative psychological balance, including high levels of anxiety, unhappiness and depression. Your psychological and emotional well-being can, therefore, be severely damaged by divorce, and it can affect the rest of your life. - REASON: Lack of commitment can seem vague and hard to prove (or disprove), especially to the person who's being blamed for the problem. The outward signs are often related to other reasons for divorce, like extramarital affairs, not being willing to talk about the relationship, and not working toward shared financial goals. That's probably why so many people point to a lack of commitment as a significant cause of divorce— because they see it as the issue underlying a range of more obvious problems. Financial Incompatibility: Money Disagreements In different studies, about 40% of people said that financial problems—in particular, complaints about how their ex-spouse handled money—were a major reason they got divorced. Fights over money are often referred to as "financial incompatibility," because they usually stem from differences in priorities and values around financial decisions. Conflicts Over Family Responsibilities When some studies asked about the important reasons for divorce, about 20% of participants cited conflicts in their marriage over:
how to raise their kids
child care responsibilities, and/or other family and household obligations. It's worth noting that least one study showed women were significantly more likely than men to cite these disputes as an important cause of their divorce.
