Starting

damage the engine, and the exhaust system.
• If the scooter is over-turned, you must first turn the
ignition switch to the OFF position and then inspect the
scooter carefully.
• The engine will not start if the throttle is fully open.

After removing your scooter from storage, Transporting Your Scooter


inspect all maintenance items required by the
Maintenance Schedule. If your scooter needs to be transported, it
should be carried on a motorcycle trailer or a
flatbed truck or trailer that has a loading ramp
or lifting platform, and motorcycle tie-down
straps. Never try to tow your scooter with a
wheel or wheels on the ground.
