CUSTOMER SUCCESS STORY
Using FALCON, a customer with ~45 motors being monitored as part of a critical
path detected 9 anomalies in less than 12 months

For one event, vibration sensors detected excessive vibration outside


of their normal signatures. After being notified, the maintenance team
completed the inspection and reported a substantial hole in the slider
pan. The slider plan was replaced during planned downtime and
vibration returned to normal.

Other events included issues with bearing lubrication, shaft failure, cracked
v-belts, oiler failure, end roller alignment, gearbox alignment, and belt position
and stitching. Each of these 9 events could have caused considerable
unplanned downtime and troubleshooting. By shifting from reactive to
preventive maintenance, that team avoided costs that could have reached
between RM40,000 and RM120,000 per event, if left undetected*.
