    NARRATIVE REPORT

    SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT (SSG)


    PEER BUDDY

    I. Introduction
    'Peer Buddy' is a program designed to assist struggling students in deeper
    comprehension of their topics and lessons. It was created for students to help fellow
    students and collaborate to make learning easier. It was an engaging and interactive
    technique for students to cope and develop their abilities and knowledge.
    II. Description
    Students are encouraged to help their classmates who are having trouble with a
    particular course or topic through Peer Buddy. Students passionately participated in this
    project from third to fourth quarter, using their Independent Cooperative Learning (ICL)
    times or vacant periods to assist one another.
    III.Purpose
    With one of the core values of DepEd, MAKATAO, this activity aims to help our
    fellow students. The main purpose of this activity is to make each group member a
    stronger individual through cooperative learning. It seeks to improve their learning
    experience and understanding of a learning subject. Not only that, but Peer Buddy’s
    objective is to foster positive relationships among students that is important for creating a
    learning community that values diversity. It provides experiences that develop both good
    learning skills and social skills.
    IV. Impact
    Peer Buddy encourages the development of interpersonal skills and motivates
    students to participate more actively in the teaching and learning process. It inspires
    students to step beyond of their comfort zone to assist another learner and boosts student
    motivation by providing them greater control over their learning experiences.
    V. Conclusion
    Indeed, Peer Buddy helped struggling students understand their topics and lessons
    better. It assisted students in helping one another and it encouraged collaborate learning
    that made studying easier. It was undoubtedly, a fun and inclusive way for students to
    deal with difficulties and grow in both their skills and their understanding.
