this is an indication that you can perform all units of competency enumerated in
Organic Agriculture Production NCII.

Conduct Orientation

I would like to welcome all of you to our Assessment-Center for Organic Agriculture
Production NC2, this assessment is to determine the level of your competency.

In OAP NCII, we have cluster of competencies which are Basic Common Core and
Elective

For the CORE COMPETENCIES we have Raise Organic Chicken, Produce Organic
Vegetable, Produce Organic Fertilizer, Produce various Organic concoctions and extract

For the ELECTIVE COMPETENCY we have Raise Organic Hogs and Raise Organic Small
Ruminants. It is okay if you pass only one of the elective competencies, you will still be
considered as competent for the national assessment

TASK TO BE PERFORMED AND EVIDENT TO BE COLLECTED

The different task to be performed for our Organic Agriculture Production NCII
assessment are the following

For COC1 you need to select healthy and good breeders, select good chicks, and install
housing equipment’s for 1 and a half hour.

For COC2 you must prepare potting mix, prepare seed bed, and sow seedlings for 1
hour.
For COC3 you must select and prepare composts raw materials and produce bokashi for
1 hour and a half

For COC4 you need to prepare FPJ and FFJ for 1 hour

For COC5, you must select, feed, and manage the breeding process of your hogs for 1
hour.

For COC6, you must select, feed, and manage the breeding process of small ruminants
for 1 hour.

I will collect evidence through Demonstration and oral questioning. This assessment
method can help measure your underpinning knowledge and skills about this
qualification.

ROLE OF ASSESSORS:

My role as your assessor is to Observe and rate your performance based on the rating
sheet and measure your level of competency

PERSONAL NEEDS

For your personal needs the comfort room is located at the end of the hallway.

If you want to take your meal, we have a canteen outside the assessment-center

However, during the assessment, you are not allowed to leave the premises of the
assessment center.

ALLOWABLE OR REASONABLE ADJUSTMENT WHEN APPLICABLE

If you have difficulty in understanding the given instruction, please do not hesitate to
call my attention because I am willing to explain and translate it for you

DO’S AND DONTS DURING ASSESSMENT

If you have concerns, questions, and there is a need for you to clarify the matter
concerning the assessment you may asked for I am willing to assist you. But once the
assessment started, please refrain from asking questions because it is no longer allowed

Rights and Appeal system

In case you have any question regarding the assessment result you have the right to
appeal, you can submit your appeal to the TESDA Provincial Office where the
assessment center and the assessor are accredited.

ISSUANCE OF NC/COC

If you have passed the assessment and you are competent, For the issuance of National
Certificate you can claim it at the Provincial Office after 5 working days. Bring your
Requirements, 4 pcs of passport size with white background with collar shirt and 50
pesos
REASSESSMENT PROCEDURE

If found not competent- do not worry about it you can be reassessed anytime at your
own convenience.

In case the reassessment is full qualification you must undergo the whole assessment
process.

If found to be competent in some unit of competencies, the reassessment will just focus
on the unit of competencies that you are found to be NOT YET COMPETENT

IF you fail 2 consecutive assessments, you are advised to take a refresher course before
applying for reassessment.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

For OHSR, kindly observed proper knife handling. If in case accident occur, please call
my attention right away so that proper first aid will be administered. In case you need a
first aid, we have a first aide cabinet at the right side of the hallway

CONFIDENTIALITY OF ASSESSMENT OUTCOMES

With the result of your assessment, we observe strict confidentiality this is to ensure
your integrity, this result is only made available to the right personnel and to the
institution wereyou had your actual training.

In relation to this, the assessment package is placed in the secured place, to guarantee
the integrity of the assessment package.

Please do away from giving any form of information that took place in the assessment
process.

For COC4, here is the Fermented Fruit Juice that you made. Based on your
demonstration, you used a wrong ratio for your FFJ. Instead of using a 1:1 ratio, you
used a 1:2 ratio, so with that you got a not satisfactory result

For COC5 and COC6, you can select, feed, and manage the breeding process of hogs and
small ruminants So, you also got satisfactory result for COC5 and COC6.

in your oral interview also you got not satisfactory result in your demonstration so my
recommendation is the issuance of COC1, COC2, COC4, COC5 and COC6

And for the re assessment of your COC3.

So, your over-all result for your assessment is not yet competent, If you are not satisfied
with the result of the assessment you may file a complaint or an appeal to the TESDA
provincial office, where your Assessor and Assessment Center are accredited. Do you
