Weavers Fields Community Nursery are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join a well-
established Nursery.

Weavers Fields Community Nursery opened in January 2007 and is registered for 30 children and
operates as a mixed age group nursery. The nursery is based in Bethnal Green within the London
Borough of Tower Hamlets.

The Early Years Practitioner will be a ‘key person’ for a group of key babies/children and will have
experience of keeping records in accordance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements. In addition, the role
requires the practitioner to work as part of a team, taking responsibility to ensure that all children, in

the nursery receive the highest standard of care and education.

The Early Years Practitioner’s role is permanent, the nursery has strong ethos in supporting and
developing staff.

Successful candidates will receive:

The successful candidate will be part of the Trust’s central services team and will work closely with the Chief
Finance Officer and the Office Managers and Head teachers in each school.

This post is vacant due to the promotion of our current HR Manager. It is an excellent opportunity for someone
who is looking to specialise in schools HR management. We offer you the opportunity to develop your expertise
through a programme of bespoke training and regular 1:1 development meetings focusing on personal reflection,
coaching and problem-solving. In future, as our Trust grows, there is potential for this post to grow too.

The Facilities Manager has responsibility for:

 Effectively managing the maintenance of the school buildings and environment


 Taking responsibility for health and safety issues on the site
 Delegating tasks as appropriate to external contractors

 Monitoring the day-to-day maintenance, repair and cleaning of the school


 Advising on redecoration and refurbishment
 Ordering and supervising repairs, and acting as project manager for small
maintenance contracts and improvement schemes
 Developing appropriate monitoring procedures to ensure that the school site is kept
clean, safe and in a good state of repair
 Meeting the demands of Statlog software system associated with premises
management

laboratory.

The post holder will also be expected to deputise in the absence of the Senior Science Technician.
