sts in total.
SEPARATE THUMB AND HAND ROW: k 20 (22 - 24) (26 - 28) (30 - 32) sts, RM, place on hold 11 (13 - 15)
(17 - 19) (21 - 23) sts (thumb), RM, k to end.

HAND
Note: the top of the hand is knitted in jersey and ribs on a height adjustable to your hand or wish. It
is therefore possible to divide this part between the two points as desired.
The 3/1 rib mittens are presented with 3 cm in jersey and 1 cm in rib.
Knit all the way (stocking stitch in the round) then in rib to the desired height.
Then loosely bind off all sts from RS.
THUMB
Note: when picking up stitches, a hole is often formed under the arm. To solve this problem you
can:
- close the hole when finishing by weaving in the ends.
- pick up 2 additional stitches and from the next row make 2 decreases on the first and last stitches
of the row. We then obtain the recommended number of stitches.
Resume and knit 11 (13 - 15) (17 - 19) (21 - 23) thumb sts left on hold and pick up 2 more sts.
We have 13 (15 - 17) (19 - 21) (23 - 25) sts in total.
K until the total height measures 1.5 (2 - 2) (2 - 3) (3 - 3.5) cm then cast off all the stitches loosely
towards the right side.
