A demonstrative adjective is an adjective used to specifically
describe the position of something or someone in space or
time. The most commonly used demonstrative adjectives are
this, that, these, and those.

5.1. GRAMMAR

5.3 STATIVE VERBS


We do not normally use the continuous with stative verbs.
Stative verbs include:
• I watch cartoons every day. I don't watch the news.
Verbs of thinking and feeling: • My dad makes dinner every evening. He doesn't make
lunch.

• She's studying English now. She isn't studying math.
