- The learner like process foods such as hotdogs, corned beef, and tocino.
He also is fond of chocolates and sweets.

- The mother, however there are times that the grandmother take over when
the mother is on her job.

How do you discipline your children?

1. Do you have rules in the house? What are they?
- Yes, for example they have their own chores they need to finish, they have
a allocated time for electronic devices, and need to finish school activities
first.
2. How do you impose the rules?
- I always remind them.
3. What are the consequences of breaking the rules?
- They won’t have their allocated time for leisure specifically their time for
electronic devices.

Physical Development
The child in the classroom is energetic and friendly with his peers and
neighbors. He enjoys playing outside under the supervision of his parents or
grandparents. When he was younger, his mother was primarily responsible for his
care, but now that she is working and his father is busy with work, his grandparents
often assist in his care. He is also comfortable interacting and playing with adults, and
he likes to explore and learn about new things in his surroundings. Additionally, he
enjoys playing with his electronic devices.

Social Development
The child frequently talks to his parents and plays with his friends both inside
and outside his house. He is respectful to adults and uses words like "po, opo, and
tabi" when speaking to them. His parents allow him to play with his friends outside,
but only if there is an adult present to supervise.

Emotional-Moral Development
The child is generally happy, but his mood can change based on certain
situations. He pays attention to what his mother says, especially when she tells him to
be careful while playing outside. His mother sets rules for him to follow and disciplines
him when necessary. When he is upset, he goes to his mother for comfort and talks to
his teacher about any problems he may have.

Cognitive Development
The child excels at writing and reading in the classroom. He consistently
performs well academically and is a top student in his class. He is proficient in reading
texts and writing letters, and he is able to complete and accurately answer his
worksheets.

Findings
Based on my observation, I do believe that the child can achieve more
academically specially he is being nurtured on a good environment. The child needs
more to mature in order for him to improve his academic career exponentially.

Conclusions
In my opinion, a strong background and support from families are crucial for a
learner to have a well-rounded development in all aspects of their being, including
physical, emotional, moral, and cognitive. Without a supportive and motivating family
environment, it can be difficult for a child to reach their full potential and thrive. It is
important to have a solid foundation and support system in order to foster growth and
success.

Recommendations
I recommend that families provide their children with adequate support in order
to motivate them to be more and achieve more. By creating a strong connection with
their child and being open to guidance, parents can encourage their child to seek their
supervision when needed. This can help foster a positive and healthy relationship
between the parent and child.

ANALYZE
1. From your home visit and interview, what do you think is the style of parenting
experienced by the learner? Explain your answer.
It is common for Filipino parents to use regular parenting strategies to
discipline their children, such as giving punishments for negative behavior
inside or outside the home, such as confiscating gadgets. This type of
parenting style aims to teach children right from wrong and help them
develop good morals. It is important for parents to set boundaries and
establish clear expectations for their children's behavior in order to help them
grow and learn to make good choices.

2. Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what family
factors do you think contribute to the development and over-all adjustment of the
learner in school?
- Parents play a crucial role in their child's development, as they shape and
guide their child towards success or failure. They have the primary
responsibility for nurturing their child and providing guidance in all aspects of
their development, including nature. They can influence where their child
goes and the experiences they have, which can impact their growth and
development. It is important for parents to be involved and supportive in their
child's development in order to help them reach their full potential.

3. Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the

learner? If yes, what are these effects?
- The school and parents have is the one who is in charge of the child’s
development, therefore it is necessary for them to have a good
communication and collaboration.

4. How can the teacher partner with the community to contribute to the
development and learning of the students? Who are the people or which
 institutions can the teacher tap to seek advice regarding the development and
learning of students?
- There are several ways that teachers can partner with their community to
support student learning and development. They can invite guest speakers
to share their expertise, work with local businesses to provide hands-on
learning experiences, collaborate with other schools or cultural organizations
to organize field trips or events, and involve community volunteers to provide
additional resources. Teachers can also seek advice from school
administrators, educational consultants, professional development
organizations, and community leaders to help guide their efforts.

REFLECT
1. Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did you
experience? How did it affect you?
Answer:
As a child I experience authoritarian parenting style, I realize that while my
parents had high expectations for my behavior and were strict in enforcing rules,
they also loved and cared for me. I understand that they wanted me to succeed
and be responsible, and I appreciate their efforts to guide me and set boundaries
for my actions. However, I also realize that it is important for children to have
some level of autonomy and independence in order to foster their own personal
growth and development. In the future, I hope to find a balance between setting
clear expectations and boundaries for my own children, while also allowing them
to make their own decisions and mistakes as they learn and grow.

2. As a future teacher, how would you establish good home-school collaboration?

How can you work well with the parents? How can you help them? How can they
help you?
Answer:
I realize the importance of good home-school collaboration in order to
support student learning and development. As a future educator, I understand
the value of maintaining open and effective communication with the parents or
guardians of my learners. By fostering a strong partnership with both parties, I
will be able to monitor the progress of my students and identify areas that need
improvement in order to support their growth and success. I believe that by
working closely with families, I can create a positive and supportive learning
environment that benefits my students and helps them reach their full potential.
