How are you? How have your family been? Many thanks for your last letter. I’m glad to hear from you
again. I’m sorry, I haven’t written for such a long time, but I have been busy studying English to pass the
B1 VSTEP. I hope you and your family are well.

I am writing to thank you for sending me a lot of photos that you took in Ha Long Bay. I love it so much. It
reminds me of the time we spent together. This is a good memory.

Unfortunately, I had trouble at the airport. The plane was delayed 5 minutes. It made me feel tired, but
everything was fine. Finally, I came home safely, and I appreciated that.

I am sorry because I am busy in spring. I will go to my grandfather’s house. Can we travel in the summer?
In the summer we can go to Da Lat, which has fresh and pure air. Besides, it has magnificent scenery. Da
Lat has many breathtaking views of mountains and has a cold atmosphere. I think it is a very nice place
to travel in the summer.

that studying at university or college is the best route to a successful career. But, on the other hand,
others believe that it is better to get a job straight after school. In the following essay, both the pros and
cons of this topic will be analyzed in more detail.

Let's begin by looking at the positive aspect of studying at university is the best route to a successful
career. One of the main advantages is that we can broaden our knowledge. We can get more information
about the subjects that we learn. After that, you will be in charge of the important position in your jobs.

we can't get more money because you don't have any certification.

In conclusion, the above-mentioned facts have created a dilemma, when people evaluate the impacts of
this issue, and it is still a controversial problem. As far as I am concerned, this issue has both positive
impacts and negative impacts. But, in my opinion the advantages of studying at university or college is
the best route to a successful career far outweigh the advantages of getting a job straight after school.
People should have further considerations on this issue.

know why my laptop shut down while I used it. I was very surprised to discover such a problem in the

In recent years, living alone has been a broad issue for the general public. Some people believe that
living alone is good. But, on the other hand, the others may think that is awful. In the following essay,

In fact that I organized a party at my house last night. I hired a disc jockey to play music and that is the
reason for this noise.

that it is strongly convenient when you read on the Internet. Nowadays, people always have devices that
connect to the Internet or have mobile data. So, it is the easiest way to get information by reading news
on the Internet. For instance, you can surf the news on the website while you are going to school by bus.

Another good point of reading on the Internet is that you don’t need to pay anything for reading. It is
free. You can read whenever you want and wherever you want. All of the things you need is a device that
connects to the Internet.

The last reason is that the news is updated faster. The news on the internet is updated continuously
while the ones in newspapers are updated at the next morning day. So, you can get more and more
information in a day.
On the other hand, besides the above-mentioned benefits, there are potential drawbacks of reading
news on the Internet. The bad side of it is that there are a lot of websites to read the news. Maybe one
of them can give fake news or false information. There is only one solution in that situation. You should
read the news on the main website that ends in “.come” and It gives you true information.

In conclusion, the above-mentioned reasons have created a dilemma when people evaluate the impact
of this issue. It is still a controversial problem. As far as I am concerned, I put more highlight on the idea
that the newspaper will not remain the most important source of news. People should have further

I like anime films so much. Thus, I decided to purchase an anime magazine at the store located in District

with anime film especially in the posters. The poster is drawn carefully about anime films. It made me so
excited.

In the lastest edition, the anime magazine had more posters than the previous one. I can put up the
poster on the wall around my room. I felt happy and interested in that.

again. I'm sorry, I haven't written for such a long time, but I have been busy studying English to pass the
B1 VSTEP exam. I hope you and your family are well.

As you mentioned in the previous one, I am writing this letter to inform you about Manchester where I
studied English three months ago.

Manchester is one of the biggest cities. It is very crowded, especially at rush hour. The weather is so
fresh and pure. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in Manchester.

I still did a part-time job in the fast-food restaurant. As you mentioned, it is the easiest way to improve
my English speaking and I could make friends with other people. I lived in an American family. She took
care of me so much. In the evening, I spend it on my leisure activities. I played football with my
classmate and after that, I went out by bicycle and sightseeing around the city.
My English class has many people. I learned how to speak English well. Also, I learned how to write
essays about some basic topics. Finally, I can make a lot of friends.

Anyway, I need to go and get on with my study. Give my love to your family. We may try and meet up
