With all that, and with the expressed opinion about the duration, I agree that it should be
encouraged for young people to work for timebetween finishing high school and starting
university studies, so we can build a better life for the citizens of the future.

Hi Alice,
How’s it going? I was very busy this week. But. You know, I miss you so much. Although
it’s just a short time since we last saw each other, it feels much longer. Thank you so much
not only for such a memorable holiday but also for the lovely photos that you sent of our
holiday together. It brought it all back to me so vividly. I think, staying with you and seeing
where you live, was a real eye-opener. Australia is certainly a scenic country with
remarkable landscape and wildlife, particular up in the north where you are. Sorry, it has
taken me so long to write back and thank you. Almost as soon as we landed back in the UK,
my mother became sick and we’ve been running around looking after her. She seems to be
improving now, though, and hopefully will be back to normal soon.
Take care and write back soon.
Best regards,
3. Intership
A professional job mostly begins with an university education. The university helps us gain
necessary knowledge and skills for our future careers. However, in addition to the structure
knowledge it offers, I believe they should equip students with more practical knowledge as
well for several reasons.
Firstly, students will stand better chances to apply what they have just learned when doing
internship in education program. The theory is only valuable when applied, and applying
theory is not an easy skill. Therefore, when the students work while they are studying, they
can practice application skill, making the theory is useful. It also gives them a sense of
purpose in what they are learning and fosters their interest . Moreover, when
applying, knowledge can be retained for much longer.
Secondly, real life can be vastly different from what is taught in books . While books teach
about the equation, theory, laws..., experience is what matters in life . Hence,
working while studying helps students get some working experience. It will equip them with
a more complete skill set, consisting both knowledge and experience combined . And so on,
they will begin their job better.
Finally, doing internship programmes in university helps students have some soft
skills, such as team working, colleague communication, negotiation, and risk
management. ... these essential skills can be learnt only when they work in real life, which is
not in any book.
Therefore, the student doing internship when studying will be better prepared for future
careers than the student who do not.
To sum up, I concur that the university should include internship or training program. By
this way, the student can apply what they have just learned, add working experience to more
complete the major knowledge, and have chance to get some useful soft skills for the future
working environment. Therefore, they will prepare better for the their careers

2. Technology- creativity(children)
Modern gadgets like smartphones and gaming consoles are quite popular with young people.
Many of them make it a point to buy new gadgets as soon they hit the market. Gadget
addiction has both destroyed and nourished the creativity of young people. I will explain my
stand with examples in this essay.
Young people who spend a lot of time with their gadgets have reduced social skills. They
live in a fictitious world of their own and often have trouble building relationships with
others. They can’t imagine an existence without their gadgets and get panic attacks if they
don’t have access to their machines. These people tend to have poor academic grades. They
don’t have time to concentrate on their studies and they have limited understanding of the
world around them. Most of these folks don’t read or write. They won’t be able to write even
a simple letter if they don’t have access to the internet. In other words, these people will find
it difficult to survive if you place them in a world where there is nOn the flip side, there are
countless youngsters who have used the potential of gadgets and technology to unleash their
creativity. They make apps and games. They write blogs to educate and entertain the world.
We are living in the midst of a startup boom. If we take a look at those startup founders, it is
not hard to see that they are young men and women in their early twenties. They are inspired
by the power of technology and want to make a constructive difference to the world. They
use their gadgets to change the world.
To conclude, technology can be a bane or a boon. It depends upon the way we use it. Young
people need to realize that gadgets aren’t for killing time. They have better uses.

2. Technology- creativity
The lounge room of modern families is equipped with high-tech entertainment
gears, such as plasma television, play station, blue-ray player. However, the
belief that these high-tech appliances make users less creative and more
sluggish becomes prevalent. Personally, my opinion is quite the opposite
because modern technology expands the scoop of our imagination and it
provides more intuitive tools for everyone to create.
Technology has made the process of creation more intuitive and easier for
everyone-from child to adult; from disabled users to normal ones; from human
beings to other creatures-to exert their creativity. Interestingly, the magnificent
invention from Apple-Ipad-can testify all the arguments: children can paint a
picture whit their fingers on the screen and adults can compose a song with
special apps; blind users can listen to audio books; even monkeys can doodle
on that. Therefore, a great technology can break the barriers standing between
dream and reality and help us to spread the wings of imagination.
In conclusion, modern technologies are tools to be utilised properly. They have
great potential to enhance our creativity and simplify the process of creation.
Technology- creativity
Early stimulation of creativity on children is very important. Such stimuli have
the capacity to change their lives. They may become a more confident and
talented adult. I fell that nowadays it is easier to stimulate the creativity than in
the past. So, I disagree that technology has made children less creative than
they were in the past for two major reasons.
Second, there are many educational television shows. The tv may be very
useful aiding children to became creative. Cartoons such as Dora the explorer,
Team Umi Zoomy, and Doc McStuffings teach children how to think for
themselves and to have creative ideas. For example, when I was a child, I
watched Tom and Jerry. Watching this was pretty fun, but not encouraged me
to think. Now, my two toddler girls can watch shows that were made by
advanced computer programs. There are a lot of details, colors, special effects
that stimulate the young brain.
Concluding, I disagree that children from the past were more creative than the
today's ones. They not only has a lot of technological resources, but also
educational modern television shows nourishing their creativity.
