The play, Death of a Salesman written by Arthur Miller in 1948 and was first performed
in 1949 was about a traveling salesman, William Loman who has a loving wife – Linda,
and two sons- Biff – thirty-four years old, and Happy- thirty-two years old, and his older
brother, Ben who was ten years dead already. William believed that in order to be rich
