Job Responsibility

and doing effective monitoring of PSM and reports corrective and preventive actions on PSM.
 Carrying out Safety Inspection / Observation / Survey report including physical & environmental
condition of workplace. Investigating / studying different types of accident / incident. Accident
Investigation & Report.
 Organize various HSE meeting like safety committee, apex safety committee, plant HSE meeting
and other safety meeting at regularly and as and when needed
 Planning, designing, developing of the safety processes, monitoring, and supervising employees
to target zero injury
 Evaluate the contractors’ safety performance through HSE audit and assist the line management
/contractors to improve their HSE Performance
 Evaluating Fire Risk and control measures time to time for implementation.
 Heading of Firefighting staff as Fire Officers, DCPO, Fire supervisor and Fire Man.

workers and Employees. Also assist and organize Need base HSE Training to Employees and
contractors’ workers for after assessment.
 Delegate responsibilities to Junior to provide an effective safety monitoring and supervisor
support program.
 Verify safety precautions stipulated on permits to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis
are being implemented.
 Verify third party certification for lifting gear, pressure vessels, electrical equipment etc,
 Identify hazards, non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions and bring them to the
immediate attention of site supervision.
 Produce pertinent toolbox talks with the assistance of responsible construction supervision
including the identification of proactive and reactive site issues for communication to the
workforce and collection of constructive feedback.
 Identify additional safety training requirements to be delivered to the workforce.
 Lead Junior Safety Officers and Safety Assistants in an immediate response to incidents and
emergency situations that occur on site, act as emergency marshals and provide first aid.
 Place safety posters, hazard flashes, safety campaign promotional material and the results of
safety incentive schemes prominently on site.
 Meet and cooperate with visiting health, safety and environmental officers as required.
 Liaise between Management and Staff on all matters relating to health, safety and environment
to ensure consistent application and understanding of policies and procedures.
 Prepare list of Personal Protective Equipment required for various jobs and maintain a list of
approved suppliers, whose supplies quality is inspected and certified at time of receipt.

the same was covered by the major newspapers which created positive branding through media,
Lead the initiative of adopting & rejuvenating the community water bodies in Varanasi.

administration, district administration, national and local media, UPSIDC, Industries department,
UP Power corporation, police, factory dept., labour dept., UPPCB, traffic department, community
members and policy makers
