Statement of Purpose
I am Paramveer Singh and I am Indian citizen and my passport number is

V7365449. I was born on 18th August 2003. My residential area is VPO
Kalyan Sukha, Near Khooh, Bhatinda, and pincode is 151102, Punjab,
India. My father name is Makhan Singh and my mother name is Grjeet
Kaur. I have great bonding with my parents because they support me in
every aspect of life. Thus, I am writing this statement of intention in
order to show my genuine interest of studying in BA (Hons)
International Business from University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Academic Background:
I completed my matriculation in year 2019 under the Punjab School
Education board with 70%. After that I completed my senior secondary
education with Humanities in 2021 under the same board with 77.2%.
Work Experience:
After completing my senior secondary I started working as a Office
Representative at Brain Train. I am still working here since 5th August,
2022. My job responsibilities are to performing market research,
processing research data, assisting the front office team, receiving and
sorting daily mail, update calendars and schedule meetings, order front
office supplies and keep inventory of stock, keep updated records of
office expenses and costs etc.
To meet the eligibility criteria of this university I gave PTE exam on 7th
March, 2023 and got overall 52 individually L= 57, R = 49, W = 47, S = 58.
Why did I choose University of Hertfordshire?

University of Hertfordshire is a public university in Hertfordshire, United
Kingdom. The university was founded in 1952 as a Technical College and
got university status in 1992 by British Government and renamed as
University of Hertfordshire. In year 2022 the university welcomed
around 32,000 students including 13,000 international students from
more than 100 countries which gives this university a multicultural
environment and has a global alumni of 165,000. University of
Hertfordshire has two campuses College Lane Campus, DE Havilland
Campus. The university has 9 schools: Hertfordshire Business School,
Computer Science, Creative Arts, Education, Health and Social Work,
Humanities, Hertfordshire Law School, Life and Medical Sciences,
Physics, Engineering and Computer Science and Hertfordshire Higher
Education Consortium. This university offers 160 undergraduate, 195
graduate, 12 research programs and the popular programs are
Accounting & Finance, Business & Management, Civil Engineering,
Electrical & Electronic Engineering Social Work, Fine arts etc. University
of Hertfordshire is a dynamic and outward- looking institution with a
tradition of teaching excellence, impactful research and bold
international partnerships. The tuition fee of this university is affordable
and the living cost of this centre is quite pocket friendly. Academic staff
of this university more emphasis o practical work rather than
theoretical. The Times Higher Education (THE) and QS Ranking groups
have placed the university between 601-800 and 801-1000 for the year
2023. The University of Hertfordshire has been ranked at 74 and 68 for
the year 2023 by The Guardian and Complete University Guide
respectively.
Why did I choose the UK?

A degree that I will gain from an UK university will be recognized
internationally by universities, employers and government bodies. UK is
the top destination among international students and UK degrees are
well recognized in the world. There are lot of students come from the
different domains of the world. Moreover, UK is renowned for its cutting
edge technology methods. I will get exposure of this nation and enjoy
the friendly environment. UK universities organized more functions and
this is the fastest way to make friends and I will improve my
communication skills. Apart from this, UK is known for its outstanding
infrastructure and extraordinary teaching. Another point is this the
faculty of UK is really help the students provide them unabated support
in every aspect of life and encouraging challenging times. Last but not
least, UK degrees set the standard and reputation in around the globe. It
has multicultural society where I can experience different culture,
languages and meet people all around the globe. All these factors made
me choose to study in this country.
Why BA (Hons) International Business ?

There are several factors why I choose this course. During work time I
feel that there is no growth and my salary is stagnant, So I want to get
myself with skills equipped and upgrade my knowledge and broaden my
horizon. The increasing rate of globalization is the result of ongoing
developments in information technology,transportation, and
communications, which have also improved national economies.
International Business offer the key skills of leadership, management,
time management, planning, controlling and improve analytical or
critical thinking. The course offers more opportunities for career
advancement as compared to other careers and with advancement
course salary will increase. Besides this, I will acquire ample of
knowledge of various modules through this course such as :

As soon as my study will complete I will back to my motherland and live
with my family members. At the same time I will do job in the best firm
in India because there are top notch firms such as Infosys, Tata
Consultancy, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Amazon etc. Where I can get
handsome salary on the positions of Research analyst, Finance Analyst,
Import/Export Agent, Foreign Currency Investment Advisor, Foreign
Sales Representative and other and they immediately hire international
degree employee because of its reputation and recognition. I will expect
6 to 7 lac per year. After sometimes company see growth in my
performance and my salary will rise according to work. I provided all the
necessary details which are relevant to my profile and I am hoping for a
positive response from your side.
