8.

0 PUMPING SYSTEM

8.1 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of Vertical in line type pump set
with SS casing, SS impeller and SS shaft suitable for operation on 400/440
volts, 3 phase 2900 RPM, TEFC electric motor mounted on a common
channel base plate with coupling guard, 150mm dia pressure gauge, GM
isolation cock and cement concrete foundation with plaster complete as
required.

8.2 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of Factory assembled skid


mounted Variable Freqency Drive Hydropneumatic system comprising of
following items.(For Domestic water supply)

a) 3 Nos. Vertical in line pumps complete in SS coupled with TEFC motor

Pump capacity - 500 lpm


Head - 60m
RPM - 2900

b) 1 No.500 litres vessels with inter changeable butyl rubber membrane.

c) 1 No. Variable speed drive Electric control panel with controller relays,
sequence timer for alternate operation of pumps, electrical wiring, cabling
from panel to pumps, level controller complete with all accessories as per
manufacturer specifications.

d) Accessories like butterfly valves, NRV's , Y-strainers , pressure


gauge ,suction & discharge header and base frame etc., complete as
required.

e) Hydropneumatic system as described above. Set 1

8.3 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of Factory assembled skid


mounted Variable Freqency Drive Hydropneumatic system comprising of
following items.(For RO water supply)

a) 2 Nos. Vertical in line pumps complete in SS coupled with TEFC motor

Pump capacity - 100 lpm


Head - 50m
RPM - 2900

b) 1 No.100 litres vessels with inter changeable butyl rubber membrane.


c) 1 No. Variable speed drive Electric control panel with controller relays,
sequence timer for alternate operation of pumps, electrical wiring, cabling
from panel to pumps, level controller complete with all accessories as per
manufacturer specifications.

d) Accessories like butterfly valves, NRV's , Y-strainers , pressure


gauge ,suction & discharge header and base frame etc., complete as
required.

e) Hydropneumatic system as described above. Set 1

8.4 Providing, fixing and commissioning non clog type stainless Steel mono
block submersible drainage pumps suitable for handling solids of 12 mm
size with totally water and dust proof motor.
a) Capacity 300 lpm & Head 15m (In chilled water plant & basement) Each 4
b) Capacity 500 lpm & Head 15m (In pumproom) Each 2

8.5 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of submersible open well


pumping set with SS casing, SS impeller and SS shaft complete with
suitable motor. Motor to be suitable for 400 / 440 volts 3 phase, 50 cycles,
AC supply.
Capacity 300 lpm, head 50m Each 4

8.6 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of Digital 5 Stage Water level
Indicators/ controllers with low voltage Relays and Magnetic Analog
Stainless Steel Probe operated by a single Float, including necessary wiring
and conduiting from probes to display panel/motor control panels and to
provide Audible Alarm for low level for each underground tank. (The cost of
required cabling from probe to Display/ Control panel and from Display to
Motor control panels to be paid separately).

a) For Domestic Filter feed pumps


To start domestic filter feed pumps at low water level in domestic treated
under ground tank and stop at high water level in domestic treated tank and
stop at low water level in domestic raw water tank. Sets 1

8.7 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of dust, damp and vermin
proof, free floor standing factory built sheet steel enclosed nondrawout
modular panel for water supply pumps, fabricated out of suitable sized
square tubular section and covered with 2.0mm thick CRCA sheet, hinged
doors of 2mm thick CRCA sheet, duly painted complete with earth bus,
necessary metering protections & indications and mounted with the
following including all inter connection etc. (Including earthing).

a) One No. 150 amps TP incoming MCCB complete with the following:
i) 1 No. 0-500 volts 96x96 sq. mm ammeter with selector switch and fuses. (1
set).
ii) 1 No. 0-200 amps 96x96sq.mm ammeter with 60/5 amps ratio CT's and
selector switch.
iii) Over voltage and under voltage tripping machanism for persistent voltage
fluctations of more than ±10% of the rated voltage for more than 5 minutes.

iv) Phase indicating lamps with toggle switches.
v) Indication lamps for ON/OFF/TRIP status of motors.
b) Aluminium bus bar of 200 amps for three phase and neutral.
c) Outgoing Feeders/Starters.
i) 16 amps TPN MCB with DOL starter each suitable 3 HP filter feed pumps
(2 Nos).
ii) 100 amps TPN MCCB each suitable for 20 HP hydropneumatic pumps
panel for domestic water supply (1 Set)
iii) 16 amps TPN MCB each suitable for 2 HP hydropneumatic pumps panel for
domestic water supply for RO water supply (1 Set)
iv) 63 amps TPN MCB each suitable for 10 HP RO panel (1 No.)
v) 32 amps TPN MCB each suitable for 5 HP drainage pumps panel in
pumproom (1 Set).
vi) 16 amps TPN MCB each suitable for 2 HP drainage pumps panel in chilled
water plant & basement (2 Sets).
vii) 16 amps TPN MCB each suitable for 2 HP submersible open well pump
panel in rain water collection tank (2 Sets).
viii) 32 amps TPN MCB each suitable for 5 HP tubewell pumps panel (2 Sets).

ix) Rotary manual/auto/off switch. (2 Nos.)


x) Spares
a) 16 amps TPN MCB - 2 Nos.
b) 32 amps TPN MCB - 2 Nos.

xi) Note :
a) All switch gear/panels shall be suitable for 10 KA rating.
b) All outgoing will have 96 sq. mm size ammeter and CT.
c) All starter will have spare 10 amps 230 V coil auxiliary contractor for
building Automation system.
d) All starter units for pumps to be provided with 3 level liquid level contractor.

e) Lamps.
f) All pumps to be provided with duty selector switch.
g) All pumps to be provided with sequence timer 220/440 V AC/DC and
alternate working of pumps between 6 to 8 hours or alternate use of pumps
after one service in sequence.
h) All pumps to be provided with over load relay.
i) All starter to be provided with single phase preventor.
j) Necessary cable alleys for space switches, level controller internal wiring
and copper earthing of all equipment shall also be included. All switch
gears/control gears shall be motor duty rating.
xi) Provisions of BMS system for pumps to be included in electrical
control panel. The panel manufacuturer shall include the following:

a) PF contact at Pumps Starter panels for Pumps Start/Stop Command for all
pumps indicated above.
b) PF contact at Pumps Starter panels for Pumps Run Status for all pumps
indicated above.
c) PF contact at Pumps Starter panels for AUTO/MANUAL switches for all
pumps indicated above.
d) PF contact at Pumps Starter panels for over load relay trip signals for all
pumps indicated above.
e) Cabling from BMS system to this panels will be done by BMS contractor.

8.8 Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of dust, damp and vermin
proof, wall mounted factory built sheet steel enclosed nondrawout modular
panel for water supply pumps, fabricated out of suitable sized square
tubular section and covered with 2.0mm thick CRCA sheet, hinged doors
of 2mm thick CRCA sheet, duly painted complete with earth bus,
necessary metering protections & indications and mounted with the
following including all inter connection etc. (Including earthing). (For
drainage pumps in chilled water plant & basement & submersible open well
pump panel in rain water collection tank ).

a) 16 amps incoming MCB (1 No.)


b) Fully tapped Copper bus bas of suitable capacity. (1 set)
c) Panel type volt meter 96mm square with Rotary selection switch for reading
voltage between phase and neutral or incoming feeder. (1 set)
d) Phase indicating lights with toggle switches and shall be protected by 2
amps MCB's. (1 sets)
e) Ampere meter 96mm square panel type of appropriate range. (1 set)
f) 16 amps outgoing MCB (2 Nos.)
g) Fully automatic DOL starters with push buttons indicating lights and
overload relay each for drainage pump. (2 Nos.)
h) Single phasing preventors. (2 Nos.)
i) Rotary manual/auto/off switch. (2 Nos.)
j) Space of one liquid level controller
k) Provisions of BMS system for pumps to be included in electrical
control panel. The panel manufacuturer shall include the following:

proof, wall mounted factory built sheet steel enclosed nondrawout modular
panel for water supply pumps, fabricated out of suitable sized square
tubular section and covered with 2.0mm thick CRCA sheet, hinged doors
of 2mm thick CRCA sheet, duly painted complete with earth bus,
necessary metering protections & indications and mounted with the
following including all inter connection etc. (Including earthing). (For
drainage pumps in pump room).

a) 32 amps incoming MCB (1 No.)

8.12 Providing, fabricating and installation following size of perforated M.S. Cable
trays including horizontal and vertical bends, reducers, tees, cross members
and other accessories as required and duly suspended from the ceiling with
M.S. suspenders including painting, etc., as required.
