Chapter 1 Introduction
Here you are supposed to introduce the work that you have carried out along with its signicance. You should start the page numbers from here. The page numbers should be given at the bottom centre. Give 1 margin at top, bottom and right side, and 1.25 at left side. Select text font size 12 with single line spacing. The headings may be suitably sized to match the text. Leave extra space on top and bottom of section and sub section headings. You may include a layout of the report, towards the end of this chapter.

Chapter 2 Related Theory

Preferably present the related theory and state-of-the art in this chapter. The title may be modied to suit the contents.

Chapter 3 Implementation
Give the details of the work you have carried out, along with the detailed circuit diagrams, ow charts etc. Give detailed discussion of your ndings and results. All the gures should be numbered in relation to the chapter(eg.gure 3.1 for the rst gure in the third chapter) and captioned. The gures should be referenced in the text matter at least once and should be inserted immediately after the rst reference. Photographs of the product, work set up etc. are desirable. You are expected to give a brief description of the platform/environment on which you were working. This can be as a separate chapter or as a separate section according to its importance in the project. The information given here is only a guideline. You are free to change the organization of the chapters in consultation with your internal guide. More chapters also may be added. The chapter titles may be selected to suit the contents

Chapter 4 Conclusion
Give the important results and conclusion of the work in this chapter. Any scope for immediate future work as a continuation also may be given here. The results that you could achieve as on 30th April 2003 only need be given. Comments/inferences are also possible here to substantiate your work status. Other than your personal copies you are expected to submit 3 extra bound volumes of the report, one for the Department, one for the library, and one for the internal guide (This can be in the form of soft copy if the guide wishes so). If you are in need of other copies for the work place, you plan it accordingly. The reports should be hard bound, with light green wrapper and colourless plastic folder as cover. While you submit the report, all copies should be signed by the respective guide(s).

Bibliography
Write the references following IEEE joirnal standards. In case of web references, exact URL has to be given.

Appendix A
Attach any supporting documents which do not directly t into the body of the report. Full Data sheets of commonly available components are not to be attached. You may include the relevant portions from the data sheets to read through the circuit diagrams, if you wish. The circuit diagrams and internal block diagram of any special purpose hardware module that you use in your product should be attached as appendix. The source codes are not to be attached as appendix. Those who are doing FPGA based projects can include the source programmes if you feel it necessary for the completion of the project report. You are encouraged to attach a CD at the end of the report. All source codes, data sheets, soft copy of the report, separate copy of abstract and synopsis etc. can be included in this.
