 Every University has a rules and regulation of
writing final report .
 IIUC follow a standard about writing final
project/Thesis report.
 Grammatical mistake is a common scene, so we
try to follow the writing report format
carefully.
 Grammatical problem can be considerable but
IIUC Format should be sorely maintained.
 Copy Paste sorely prohibited.
Cover Page:

Title Page:
Title page is a 1st page of
your report. It bring some
information about your
project/Thesis name ,
project student name,
Degree name, Department
name, Institution name,
Time
Approval Page
Approval page is a
recommendation paper
from your supervisor .
This paper is common for
all project student. After
checking your
information supervisor
will sign it.
Declaration:
Declaration page is a page
where you and your
project partner will sign it
to declare that the project
have been done by
yourself and have not been
copied from others.
Acknowledgement
:
Acknowledgement page
should be attached on your
report. It is the page where
author will thankful with
those whoever gave
encourage, suggest, help,
motivation for making
project. Then authors will
sign it.
Abstract
Abstract is the gist of your work. It
should write very carefully and
containing the important data so that
a reader can easily understand about
the Project/ Thesis. A reader get
interest about your project without
reading your hole project by this
abstract page. It should contain some
information=>
Introduction (Introduce your work)

Problem statement (Why?/Problem

of previous work)
Methodology (How you did it?)

Results (Outcome of work)

Conclusion/ Application

Note that: The body of abstract


should not continuing more than 1
page.
Table of content:
Table of content provide
information of page number for
pages, chapters and topics. One
can find any topic inside your
report by getting page number
from this table of content.
Table of contents starts
numbering “Certificate of
approval page” by roman
number ii .
The format of this page is given
in the picture.
List of Figures:

Figures used inside your report


should mention in this page with
figure title and page number.
List of Table:

The data table or table that


shares information used inside
your report should mention in
this page with table title and
page number.

Note that:
 In this components part only key hardware should be described. Not resistor, capacitor,
diode, transistor etc .
 If you use microcontroller, write down the key features, pin diagram, function of pins
(only used in your project, not all pins)
 In case of sensor, give working principle of sensor, pin diagram and characteristic curve.
 In case of motor, give rating of motor (Voltage, Current i.e. power)
 In case of display, give display construction, working principle, pin diagram and pin
functions
