2) Check FVR. (Observe TMA [1V/2 mA] of the PW CONT-200 board on an oscilloscope, and
adjust FVR by SetFVR in the FVR menu, if necessary.)
(Note that FVR is a different value [0.25 V/2 mA] by TmA on the WHA CONT-200 board.)

Maintenance
8.1 Replacement and Check Methods
8.1.1 How to check the gate waveform of IGBT
1) Change the wiring so that the inverter unit is not charged.
Make sure that the main breaker at the bottom on the rear of the monitor cart
is OFF.
Disconnect wiring [AC200] and [AC0] to terminal block X5 on the INVERTER-200
board.
Cover the disconnected terminals with an insulation cap or insulation tape.
2) Disconnect connector JM3. (The filament will not be heated.)
3) Turn ON the breaker in the C-arm cart.
4) Turn ON the main breaker at the bottom on the rear of the monitor cart.
5) Turn ON the power switch on the monitor cart. (The unit turns ON.)
6) Connect the maintenance personal computer to the WHA CONT-200 board using the serial
cable, and start up WHA Maintenance Tool. Select "Gate Waveform Check" in WHA
Maintenance Tool.
8) Check the IGBT gate waveform in the fluoroscopy modes. (no need to adjust the waveform.)
(1) Check the connector JINV connection.
(2) Connect the oscilloscope to CP9[G]-CP10[E] and CP16[G]-CP15[E] on the INVERTER-
200 board. [A] to [D]
(3) Perform fluoroscopy under tube voltage 100 kV conditions, and check the gate waveform of IGBT.
Make sure that the pulse width at +5 V is 8.3 to 8.7 µsec. Make sure that the frequency is 35
kHz (28.0 to 29.0 µsec).
(4) Connect the oscilloscope to CP13[G]-CP14[E] and CP12[G]-CP11[E] on the INVERTER-200
board, perform fluoroscopy, and make sure that the gate waveform of IGBT is fixed at 0 V and not
a pulse waveform. [B]-[C]

This setting is IEC standard-compatible and its standard operations are as follows:
・ An alarm sounds after 4 minutes and 30
seconds have elapsed. Fluoroscopy is possible during this period.
(The fluoroscopy time can be changed by the user to one of 0:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00,
2:30, 3:00, 3:30, 4:00, or 4:30.)
・If fluoroscopy is being performed continuously for ten minutes, X-ray emission will
automatically be cut off midway. To continue fluoroscopy, release the left foot switch
or the X-ray irradiation switch, and then turn the left foot switch or the X-ray irradiation
switch ON again.

The tube current mA(p-p) of pulse fluoroscopy is the same mA as that of DC fluoroscopy.
The pulse width of pulse fluoroscopy is about 30 ms.
The pulse rate is selectable from 15, 10, 7.5, 5, 3.75, or 2 fps (EIA).
As the tube current curve is the same for
both DC fluoroscopy and pulse fluoroscopy, the dose of pulse fluoroscopy 15 fps is abo
ut 55% to 60% of that in DC fluoroscopy.
