Need-Based Scholarship Application

Dear Colleague,

As part of its social mission, Pioneer Academics dedicates funds every year to need-based scholarships (NBS) for students to participate
in the Pioneer Research Program. These funds are very limited, and their use is restricted to cases in which the need of the student’s
family can be reliably accredited. Students are eligible for these scholarships in countries where need can be assessed, or if they are
part of a non-profit organization or an educational institution that can assess need.

As indicated in the email correspondence accompanying this form, a student from your school has applied to participate in an
upcoming research program. As part of the application process, your student has requested to be considered for need-based
scholarship funding from Pioneer Academics.

This fillable form (please see the next two pages) will collect important information about your school’s need-based funding policy.
Using the information you provide will allow us to determine if the student has met our eligibility criteria to be considered for need
based scholarship. In turn, this knowledge will enable us to calculate the amount of need-based scholarship for eligible students that
are conditionally accepted into the program.

We recognize that you may not have access to the information required to complete this form. Should that be the case, please
forward this application to the appropriate individual(s) at the school who have access to this information. It has been our
experience that forwarding the application to the appropriate individual(s) averts delays in submission of the completed form and
minimizes the risk for the reporting of erroneous information. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We respectfully request that:

1) A hand-written or electronic signature (i.e., from using Adobe Acrobat) be used when submitting the form. We are unable
to accept typed signatures.
2) Documentation to support the information listed on the form (i.e., need-based scholarship notification letter sent to the
student/parent(s) from the school) must be in English. We are unable to accept documentation that has not been translated. 3)
All application materials be submitted at the same time (in the same email) to scholarships@pioneeracademics.com on/
before the deadline specified in the email that accompanied this form. Materials received after the deadline (listed in the
accompanying email) may not be considered.

Please note that we are unable to accept the completed form and supporting documents from the student applicant (or their parent/
guardian) due to verification requirements. Please do not give the form to the student/family to complete as we will not accept it.

Pioneer Academics shall use all confidential information submitted solely for the purpose of evaluating parents’ expected family
contribution. The information will not be shared with any third-party agents or unauthorized staff members.
